Biography: 
D.H.U.B aka Jonathan Dubé discovered Electronic Music in 2013 . His friend introduced him to the scene and went to a gig of Sasha. That night he understood that was a life-changing moment and he immediately felt in love with progressive House. By himself he started finding and discovering new DJs and producers around the Globe and as a result he started learning djing in 2015 to spread his love for music. 

His Hypnotic Mixes blend mostly Progressive , with somes toutch of Deep and Organic House with sprinkling of middle eastern percussion and vocals to take people into different parts of the globe .

Better known as the ‘ProgMelodic’ protagonist, Dominic Ortega deliberately stands at the intersection where Progressive & Melodic House music cross paths and where the lines become blurred. 

Seamlessly blending these diverse yet inter-connected genres of atmospheric house music, championing a unique & distinctive sound & DNA and in doing so creating a provocative, uplifting and emotive musical journey for the listener. Dominic, a British DJ, started his musical journey during lockdowns and has never looked back!

Dominic has been making waves in the scene over the past couple of years, and is now busy trying to establish himself as a prominent figure in UK Progressive House scene. 

His dedication and drive has certainly caught peoples attention, leading him to become the newest PHUK resident and soon to be an invaluable addition to their team. Not only is Dominic a talented DJ, but he's also stepping up to contribute behind the scenes, getting involved with the administrative side of things.

MÉLOMANIE 015 - HARTSTOCHT

Attached is the set I performed on the 17th of February, amidst the breathtaking scenery of the Achterhoek. Crafting my sets meticulously from start to finish is a personal tradition, and this time was no exception. I had the opportunity to test some of the tracks at a very special birthday celebration just the weekend before, held at a charming farmhouse just around the corner from where I reside.

The evening began with EJ setting a warm and inviting tone, instantly making everyone feel at home in a place they likely had never visited before. I was truly moved by how any initial hesitations melted away, aided by the poignant strains of the classic track "Adagio For Strings" performed with the original intention by Barber. Emotions were stirred for those open to receiving the signals, myself included.

Following the enchanting opening DJ set by Eddy, it was my turn to take the stage. From the very start, I was immersed in the moment, carefully weaving together a tapestry of tracks not in a haphazard sequence, but with each addition enhancing the journey as the set unfolded. I even managed to incorporate Dave's and Martin's vocals twice; with "Nothing Else Matters" remixed by Carlos Gatto, and the tender "The Things You Said" in the Nick Warren & Nicolas Rada Remix.

While some may lament prolonged breaks in Progressive House sets, there was no such complaint as timeless classics like "Morning Struggle" by Henrik Zuberstein, "Erectheum" (Original Mix) by Ruben Karapetyan, or "Last Standing" (Original Mix) by Guy J graced the dancefloor. The reception to these breaks was truly heartening. And to close the set with Jefferson Airplane's "White Rabbit" in the Kaz James & Nick Morgan Extended Remix evoked a bittersweet nostalgia, leaving a lasting imprint on the soul. It was indeed a night to cherish. I hope you find as much joy in this set as I did in creating it. Until next time!

The famous Renaissance and Global Underground releases were the ignition of a musical journey for Yvo J. Around 2000 the first Renaissance ‘The Masters Series’ were released with icons like Dave Seaman, Deepdish, James Zabiela, John Digweed, Sasha, Nick Warren and Hernán Cattáneo. Yvo J is devoted to Progressive House with some outings to Deep and Tech House. He loves to play longer sets, taking his crowd on a musical trip with melodic, deep but always energetic rolling tracks. Renowned labels like Sudbeat, Replug, Proton, Mango Alley, Anjunadeep, Lost & Found, Movement Recordings and The Soundgarden to name a few, are often heard in Yvo J’s performances. 
January 2019, the first edition of ‘Colonia’ sees the light. Every month Colonia is filled to the brim with the latest and best Progressive House music, merged into a fresh mix public available on Soundcloud. By spinning the decks at live events & clubs, is where Yvo J come into its own. In 2020 plans became reality with the first self-organised and crowded ‘&FRIENDS’ dance events where sounding Progressive House artists share the decks with upcoming talent. A few years later Goesting Events was added to the portfolio where existing and upcoming Progressive House talent is promoted on several outstanding dance events.
