Bad Tips continues its streak of innovation with RAVL's "Archives EP". Oscillating between Lyon and Marseille, RAVL showcases a break and melancholic universe that skillfully blends analog warmth, icy percussions, and a meticulous sound design.

The EP opens with the dreamlike techno-break journey of "Archives" seamlessly transitioning between bittersweet melancholy and convulsive rhythms. "Doomsday Clockmakers" takes the listener deeper into emotional terrain, punctuated by a nihilistic voice and a nebula of beastly percussion.

Remixes by Hyas, Lisa More, and Pura Pura offer diverse perspectives, each adding a unique layer to the sonic tapestry. Hyas crafts a precision-focused blend of UK influences, while Lisa More's remix evokes a cyborg's melancholic memory. Pura Pura's reinterpretation injects a club-oriented energy, seamlessly intertwining rap, club, and bass influences.

Everything Merged Vol 1

‘Everything Merged’ is 3024’s second series of compilations featuring artists from the 3024 Mentoring Program. At the beginning of the pandemic, label owner Martyn started forming a lively online community of artists, providing them with ideas and inspiration. This community grew larger and larger, and musicians started to connect both online and offline, across continents and genres. It resulted in the “It Was Always There” series of compilations from 2021, and countless independent releases, radio appearances and gigs, putting a host of artists on the map.

Working on the program made Martyn and partner Jeroen Erosie reconsider the purpose of running a record label in 2022. ‘Are we still interested in putting out records via the usual channels?’ Or should a label become more of an umbrella for various activities by a larger community, both online and IRL, with digital and physical products, in other words merge everything into one.

“Everything Merged vol. 1” features the awesome music of a group of 3024 alumni from across the globe, interpreting the post-pandemic phase of electronic music each in their individual ways. There are the contemporary percussive meditations of Adam 2, Solair, Klont and Brooklynite No Sir, the 90s garage and rave inspired music of Karis, Agôn, Slovenia’s Hatterri and Noise Casino from Colombia. The exuberant technicolorist bangers of Guava, Blu-e and Cress and the deep hypnotic explorations of India’s Chhabb, MarceauxMarceaux and The Exhausted.

Sounds of the KVLT 52 : silkties.

Formella‘s sets are a reflection of her upbringing in and around London, drawing inspiration from a diverse range of sounds, from playful breaks to deep wobbly bass. She became a member of the first group of Femme Bass Mafia mentees and her talent quickly caught the attention of the Berlin bass scene, playing at HÖR for a Typeless Records showcase, Keep Hush, and venturing beyond Germany to clubs such as Thekla for Interplanetary Criminals UK tour and Ankali in Prague. Her genuine passion for music led her to join the esteemed team at OYE Records, a beloved institution in Berlin’s music scene.

Fresh off a successful India tour, including NYE in Mumbai, Formellas exciting sets can be heard at festivals this summer including Outlook in Croatia and Fusion festival (DE)..
