Bucharest-based Arapu plays around with the mechanics of sound in his newest mix for us, incorporating sci-fi elements and wavey basslines to create something truly unique. His ability to amplify mood clearly shows here as he breezes through each track. The mix feel fresh, stylish and refreshing, ready for summertime partying. This sound pilot founded the Liniar label in 2015 and has dedicated himself to bringing hot, new talent to the masses. It is this style and playfulness which has been the key to his success and kept us wanting more.

GH003 brings you Priku.

Adrian Niculae a.k.a. Priku established himself as a hard working and passionate music creator. He is a member of Sunrise booking since 2007, making his way up to the big gigs through many noticeable Sunwaves performances. 

He released on labels such as [a:rpia:r], All Inn, Fabric, Concrete Music and Only 300 Family, his name is also on Cocoon Green & Blue 2011 and Cocoon Heroes compilations. 

Throughout he can be seen playing in many important clubs and parties around the world, including Robert Johnson, Amnesia, Kazantip Festival, Tenax, Concrete, all across Europe and as far as the Americas. 

In 2012, Bobohalma Ep was released on [a:rpia:r] label. This was a resounding success, highly appreciated by his colleagues in the industry as well as the general public. 

2013 is a turning point for Priku. He creates his own label: Motif and releases a new solo – Acoustic Ep under his real name, Adrian Niculae, the name that’s also present on Fabric 72. 

Priku's achievements came when still relatively young proving to be extremely talented, when we look at him we can see this sweet and delicate face, however, when we listen to his music, especially his live performances - by definition presenting the core of his identity musically – we call him the “king of basslines”, there is a somewhat adorable contradiction here, sweet face vs dark and very strong music, in the best way possible. That element of surprise and this contradiction makes him an even more fascinating artist. 

In 2016 started a new label and series of parties called Atipic, party by which we hold a residency at Guesthouse. This set is an extract of his set at Atipic at the club in March 2019.

Time to delve deeper into the Ukrainian underground, as we meet one of its finest minimalist exports. In the mid-2000s as Europe's sonic melting pot was churning away, Yaroslav began his obsession with crafting music. Festivals like the utopic Kazantip were a huge inspiration in his early days, exposing him to a wide spectrum of minimal techno, microhouse, and ambient electronica. His openness to experimenting with these sounds has led to the blissful symbiosis of electronic influences that you can hear in his sets and compositions and has led him to release on respected labels like @MamaRecordings, @sleep-is-commercial & @Archipel Musique Canada.

His own label @Soblazn Music is a highly curated platform for uniquely sophisticated, intelligent minimal music on both digital and vinyl formats, and continues to embody the sonic exploration that Yaroslav himself holds dear to his heart.
