Hot Since 82 - Eye Of The Storm (Simon Doty's Dear Ben Remix)

I am so excited to unveil some of the absolute MADNESS I’ve been working on over the past few months. I have been getting really deep into AI art, and in particular, AI music and video creation. Tomorrow, my first ever musical collaboration with AI is out.

This track, “Time Flies” is composed of 99% AI generated sounds. Using the “Chirp” command from Suno AI, I was able to generate lots of different song snippets. These are full pieces of music, with drums, bass, vocals, keys etc. It would be too easy and not that fun to just put those out, so I then split the full mix audio outputs in RipX to separate them into their individual stems (absolutely insane). I was then able to treat the myriad of separated audio files like parts of a remix or working on a song someone else had started recording.

The vocals on this track are by my new AI generated influencer/female singer @poppywildwater. She will be releasing her first solo songs soon too as, despite being just a neural network, she is a very talented folk singer. 

Reactions have been 50/50 when I’ve shared this with people. Some are horrified and disgusted, (“art is dead”, “the end of the world is coming”, “we are all fucked”) while others have been as impassioned and inspired as I am by the power at our individual fingertips to create unabashedly, (“you can do anything”, “this is a game changer”, “creative freedom”.) I am sure that this will divide a large percentage of my audience so let me know what you think.
