Present our new music compilation. Someone you will see for the first time, someone you know perfectly well, but all together they will smash your head with a special music flow for all bleep lovers.

Initially, we wanted to return to the traditional, canonical sound. But we failed. Each of the musicians is unique, each has his own specific style and own understanding of how to make chiptune really cool.

Today we are waiting for a bunch of electronic mixes, completely different dynamics of tracks, an infinite number of samples and effects, and even real live instruments.

And let them say that the chiptune is limited to 8 bits, we always knew that any limitations could be overcome!

Lambda Calculus was my (failed) Chip=Win 4 Submission. I initially wanted to tighten it up some more, as was suggested by the judges, but since I am moving most of my "pure chip" stuff to LSDJ, I will leave it as is.

See it as a last memorial to my DAW chip era. ;)

Made a new genre because why not, all the cool kids are doing it. I call it futurebit, since adding future to a genre is so hot right now.

To everyone expecting chiptune, I hope you can forgive me that I skipped into a different genre for a while. I already learned so much from switching and if I make chip again (I think I will), I believe it will profit massively from my sidequest. (Aww sidequest, that's a kickass song name. Next track will be called sidequest! But pssst, k plz.)

This track was made for a Sega Genesis using Sonar X2 DAW, FMDrive and SPSG VSTs, Sonic 3 PCM samples for drums. A Roland TR-08 was used to overdubs a hi-hat. The sound was recorded with a mix of an GenMDM device and emulators for further mixing. Apart from some panning (mainly PSG), everything is stock. No reverb, compression, FX or EQ used.
