Zac Coaston is a SoCal native dj, producer and engineer. Coming from a religious background his pastents restricted what music he could listen to as a child but as he matured his love for music extended past his parents restrictions. His father was a pastor which gave Zac the opportunity to mix live for a band every week for five years. So his younger life was filled with listening to classics disco, jazz, funk and soul music like the gap band, the al jarreau, earth wind and fire but his main inspirations are Stevie wonder, Michael Jackson and Prince. Zac makes hip hop and r&b his music has been described as a mix of Drake and Pharrell Williams. His music can make you dance and make you cry but ultimately his mission is to make music that you want to feel again.
