What’s happenin’, people! Boy, ‘twas a long week that just passed, and I’m relieved it’s over. As much fun as it was, I’m happy to be within the walls of my home, and amongst familiar company. S/O to everyone who showed out in Seattle, as well as Honolulu. The reception was awesome and felt.. I just hope you got what you came out for, or at least as much as I got out of it all. If not, y’all need to let me know. BiGGTANKS to Emerald Dynasty, TeeDubbTurnUp, A-Team, Ali’i Athletics- EVERYONE who helped put the little run together.

NOW, onto the main event.. 

TE•LOS /te·los ˈteläs,ˈtē-/
an ultimate object or aim.

Recently, I came across the word in listening to what many would consider a “highly” controversial commentator. That aside, he mentions life in one of his speeches, and something to the extent of everyone having a genuine purpose. TELOS. In that same segment, he goes on to argue that life is NOT an accident, and that if it was, TELOS could not exist. Just like most people in the world, I’ve wrestled with faith or the lack of. Not to get too religious, but I definitely believe we’re all blessed with an aim. It’s up to the individual to see that aim through, and I think in doing so just contributes to their own happiness and the happiness of those around them. Unfortunately, we live in a world that suppresses much of this TRUTH. The rat-race is real and can be very distracting.. if anything, it’s a trap. A trap of the mind & soul. What’s even more troublesome about this trap is that many of us don’t even know we’re in it. We’ve been baited at a young age into believing in things that can’t really coincide with our fulfillment as individuals. It’s crazy to think that there are so many out there that miss out on their own dreams being realized. From simply being unaware of their own TELOS. Anyway, I don’t wanna get too far from the matter at hand, but I hope by your reading this, and even listening to the single, it influences you to strive for that fulfillment. That’s all.

You’ll notice the artwork features Donovan Mitchell- and if you don’t know who that is.. you’ll find out in time. I’m sure. Not much to why I chose to have him on the artwork, but that I’m a fan. I admire his humility as a player as well. You don’t see that much these days, especially in pro sports, and it’s refreshing. Also, if you really think about it, Donovan is a prime example the term ‘Dark Horse’. Even with what he’s been able to accomplish this year as a TRUE rookie; most 3-point field goals in a rookie season, beat Michael Jordan for most points in a rookie season, 2nd player in history to score 27+ points in the playoffs as a rookie, 20.5 point average in the regular season, and on top of all that, won the dunk contest. Yet.. his run for Rookie of the Year is up for debate, when it's no question. The man is overlooked. He managed to come out on top at almost every occasion he was given, and in that sense, I relate.. somewhat. 

Truthfully, I haven’t even scratched the surface of this whole music thing. Others express to me their feelings that I’ve done a lot music wise, and they also feel I don’t get very much recognition for it. Which would be fine by me if that were the case, being I don’t feed off of recognition or praise as much as I feed off of experience. Fact is I haven’t done a damn thing. Although, I do feel I get enough out of this for not doing much, and what I get is more than enough. Any more recognition would just be overflow, and I don’t think that would do too well by me, if I’m being honest.

ANYWAY, this is the new single for ya, and again, I hope it provides you with enlightenment- or at least, some inspiration to be or do something GREAT. If not, feel free to let me know.
