In Hour 1 we welcome back DJ Marky, following 2 appearances on Solid Steel a decade ago. With more than 20 years as a true international professional, DJ Marky directed the art of djing and producing music to another level. Now, after years of incessant touring, DJ Marky is still one of the most respected and in demand djs in the club scene and festivals. In Hour 2 it's Tin Man who is of Finnish descent, but born and raised in California and now has a home in Vienna, a town perfectly suited to his deep and moody productions. TIN MAN has acclaimed releases on the Finnish record label Sähkö / Keys of Life, Cheap Records from Vienna, and continues with new releases on his own imprint, Global A . While TIN MAN's output is diverse in its references, certain underpinnings can be heard throughout. There is always a strong reference to Acid House music, as well as a strong reference to Ambient and Electronic Pop music from the past 30 years. He told us;
"Here is my mix. Its on the acid tripping side of deep techno with some soft bookends.”

Solid Steel Radio Show 21/9/2018 Hour 2 - Tin Man

This the first piece of music from my new Shamanic minimal psy tech house whatever experimental project entitled "The Cat's Pajamas" :) 

Ive have SOOOOO much fun creating this music. After touring through Europe this last summer, I was exposed to a sea of new genre bending musical soundscapes.

Ive been combing sounds of interesting organic elements, with Shamans blowing the sounds of the wind and flute with very delicate minimal soundscapes, beats, and a little sultry spice :) I hope you guys enjoy.
