Our "Croisière du monde" album in progress with Roberto B (@user-55822457 and @robertoiib) now continues with its 9th track, "Les délices de l'Orient" - or, in (our) English translation, "The Delicacies of the Orient". We hope you'll enjoy this collaborative composition of ours too.

The track was created in collaboration on 30 October 2021 (initial mix and recording in MAGIX by Roberto B), 23 November 2021 (subsequent additions, mix and recording in GarageBand and Logic Pro by Alex M), 26 November 2021 (another mix by Alex M in Logic Pro) and 27 November 2021 (final mix in MAGIX by Roberto B), and posted on SC on 27 November 2021 (by Alex M).

The artwork cover for the album and all its constituent tracks was designed and implemented by Alex M on 29 June 2021 (in Tayasui Sketch in Mac OS), cropped by Alex M (in Mac OS Preview) on 30 June 2021, and annotated with text by Alex M (in Mac OS Preview) on 2 October 2021 - in coordination and agreement with Roberto B.

Thank you so much, Roberto - for the beautiful musical ideas that inspire again our new collaborations in this ongoing "musique de film" - and more - album, "Croisière du monde"!

Yet again, I set some rules and left the synths dreaming while I had a nap.

This (with a bit more intervention after the fact this time) is the result.

I received an answer song from Germany because I received a song that imaged my town, Osaka. 
　In the Japanese archipelago, where there are many disasters, even if major disasters occur frequently in the surrounding area and people die, no major disasters have occurred in Osaka Prefecture since the beginning of modern times. 
　We are peaceful and enthusiastic about business, and there are many comedians living in the area, and many of the inhabitants are good at jokes like comedians before their debut. 
　However, in the hearts of the inhabitants, there is a feeling of peace and fear that it is economically inferior to Tokyo and that the next major disaster must be Osaka's turn. I am.
Everyone loves the area where they were born and raised. Me too. The location in the photo is a mix of complex buildings that symbolizes the light and shadow of prosperity and is my favorite landscape.

Original compositions played upon various acoustic instruments. 

At the moment, the majority of music I record is original folk tunes. Most of these tunes arise whilst out in natural ecosystems or shortly after visiting a natural ecosystem. The titles often reflect an aspect of the ecosystem I had noticed while the tune came about. Lately this is usually a species of bird.

Tin whistles and flutes appear the most often in my recordings; though mandolin, tenor guitar, lyre harp, jaw harp, dulcitar, and a handful of other instruments show up fairly often as well.
