This song is more of a metalcoreish song which I know it's cool to hate on now but whatever. I tried to do some cool time stuff inspired in part by some jazz rock groups for the bars over 8 and more just metal stuff for the bars over 4. The title is a reference to the show Hayate No Gotoku and the character Hinagiku, which means Daisy. The solo at the end is what I play for God's Great Dance Floor, in case anyone wants to know.

This song is a little djenty during the breaks but I still tried to keep it rock driven. I used a cool little technique some bands are starting to use by making the lowest note the fourth tone in the key rather than the sixth (or the first for a minor key) and it's fun experimenting with writing that way. All songs were recorded in Logic and use virtual drums.

Chasing The Wind

This is the first heavy song I tried to write, I made it a lot faster and bit more wild than the others. The drum samples we used in Logic didn't have a china, so I might rerecord it one day. Joe Auermann recorded this bad boy for me and let me use all his gear, so he's the man. He also came up with the name and I liked it SO THERE
