Lazy explorers

Hello Once again and welcome to another session of Bbp. We hope you have had an amazing week and for some of us the holiday is upon us but for others.... hey at least it's the weekend.

This week we two very talented individuals on our show. They go by the name of Deep Souls and im sure you can already tell by their name what to expect.

Coming from two completely different backgrounds, the two members of DeepSouls ; Bradley Jones & Ofentse ‘Milo’ Raphadu met through mutual friends and immediately spawned a formidable friendship through their love of music, to be more specific, deep house brought the two together.
Throughout the years the love for the music grew and thus allowing them to begin their career in DJ’ing, which initially started out as just a hobby, and avalanched into something bigger than each of them.
Bradley Jones, a fun loving, self -proclaimed comedian is one half of the duo. Despite his surroundings growing up, found himself becoming ever more inclined to house music, old school hip hop and a pinch of RnB, but deep house has and always will be his first love. 
Milo, the more introverted character is other half of the duo, and was introduced to hip hop from a very early age, this was the beginning stages of his adoration for music and the wonderful sounds it consisted of, and formed an interest in the producing side of things. With influences from kwaito and house, he found deep house which he found will become a big part in his life.
In their short yet increasingly growing careers as DJs , they have shared the stage with a plethora of some of SA’s  most talented DJs in the industry such as Cody B, Renato Rodrigues, Malcolm Dexx, HouseKnights and HouseHold Funk, Nick Essential, 2Lani the Warrior, Lino to name a few, also featuring alongside an International; Mr Jesus Gonsev from Spain. Adding to events that they have featured at, they too have hosted their own events, in the effort to bring the beautiful sounds of deep house to the masses.
Music is what we love and it will always remain that way, We do it for the love and nothing else.

Bbp - Profile - Deep Souls - All the Love we have

.............When they talk about a flower that can grow in the most rugged places Sand Isle is a pure example.

From the metal jungles of Alexandra Township, Sand Isle is an individual that uses himself as a medium to connect to the broad channels of the world by searching for ears that share the same itch and taste of music.                                                   

When he realised that music was his foremost passion, He moved from just being a simple listener/collector of Deep House, Tech, Kwaito, Hip hop and everything in-between to researching the art of House music and what type of message is it trying to spread across the Globe.

Sand Isle developed a desire and hunger to start digging deeper for a more intricate sound that could aggravated him more to understand the art of House Music which led him experiment on Dj’ng and that was back in year 2006, he was only 16 years of age that time. Through Practise he then started to take his performances to the people and played in Pubs, Parties and functions in his local area (East Bank).

The simple Performances were not enough for him because he had a bigger picture than just playing good music to people, he wanted to be more than just a Dj but an Artist that entertains through revelation so he went to study Music Industry & Sound technology at Central Johannesburg College in 2010. That allowed him to learn electronic Music Production which gave him a chance to develop his music production skills and form his own distinctive sense, Audio Recording, Mixing and Professional Dj and Live Sound.

After a Year he furthered he studies more of Music and Sound at Damelin (Allen Bay Campus) for two years while dj’ng in various locations like Bar 9 Midrand, Ndaweni Thembisa, Club Neh Alex, Waterfall Rustenburg etc. Sand Isle gained his skills of understanding and grooving different crowds (Mixed Raced) on the dance floor and through that experience he grew firm and confident about his craft.

He then got signed and requested to be the leading artist of Plite Recordings (Greenstone) and released his debut EP titled Lost In Translation on the Label which was well accepted by the likes of

In The Year 2015 Sand Isle Collaborated with the Stellar Lazarusman for a two track EP titled We Can Never Know Why Ep and is well received internationally and locally. Biography:
Zach Mika Mbiza (Zach Ibiza) was born in Soweto, Johannesburg, on the 17th of December, 1995. His first encounter with House music was at the age of 11, when his uncle played a song by DJ Fresh for him and his brothers, sparking and creating a love for the genre. Later on in his life, during his high school years, he met two guys - Kutlwano and Gwinch, who then introduced him to Deep Tech and Ambient House and also taught him how to DJ. Zach has now associated himself with a movement called Tsakane Presents The Deepness, based in the East Rand, where they are playing a part in growing the Deep House scenery various Deep House themed events which attract music lovers in and around Johannesburg.

House music is indescribable, whether it's Future Jazz or Experimental house; it is just the type of music that makes you feel like a child, in the supermarket on the candy aisle.
