About a year ago I launched my label IPSO. First release was a collab with Michael Mayer. We made Dogma 1 and 2, and the tracks have been in heavy rotation ever since. I remember a magical morning at Panorama Bar where we played Dogma 1. It was one of those moments we all live for, where everything fell in place. Magical.

This summer IPSO 002 is released and this time it's a collab with none other than Tiga. We spent a couple of great days in my Copenhagen Studio, and I'm really proud of what we came up with.
This is the first track "HAL" from the forthcoming IPSO 002 E.P.

A testament to the growth of Adam Beyer’s scene-leading label, Drumcode annual A-Sides Vol.8 is the brand’s biggest yet.

The 25-track strong compilation features standout cuts Beyer has received over the last 12 months, but been unable to find room for in Drumcode’s regular release schedule, such is the volume and high standard of music that’s submitted.

The highlight-rich compilation includes Jamie Jones & Darius Syrossian’s buzzy Drumcode debut ‘Eyes of the Night’, Nicole Moudaber’s first DC release in 5 years with the mesmerizing ‘This Is Us’, Will Clarke’s bass-drenched re-work of Adam Beyer & Bart Skils ‘Your Mind’ and Joey Beltram’s first Drumcode release in 11 years with the retro-tinged ‘Can You Feel It’. 

The beloved Alan Fitzpatrick returns to the fold with the searing ‘Heiße Rakete’, alongside label mainstays Layton Giordani, who drops the stirring chord-driven ‘Chrome’ and Wehbba with ‘Mantra’, combining techno classicism with future-focused groove.

There’s a troupe of debutants donning the Drumcode jersey for the first time, including BEC, Shelley Johannson, Anthony Castaldo, Avision, Zimmz, Woo York, SAMA (in a terrific collaboration with Secret Cinema) and Ilija Djokovic, who delivers a shimmering highlight with ‘Aura’, a particular favourite of Beyer’s over the last year. Raxon also debuts on the label after a couple of quality additions to the Truesoul back catalogue.

Exciting young guns Weska and Juliet Fox bring heat to the compilation, while Veerus and Timmo follow up strong DC releases with a repeat dose. Elsewhere faithful contributors Ramon Tapia, Jay Lumen, Luca Agnelli, Marco Bailey and Mark Reeve craft powerful dancefloor weapons.

L.A duo Tau0n return to the label with their 'Like A Bell' EP - a release that lands during a new era for Slothacid

It's fitting, therefore, to have Tau0n begin this new era for Slothacid with them being one of the first artists to release on Slothacid back in 2019 on the Sacha Robotti collab 'Forget Tomorrow'. Channelling the same distinctive sound, the duo doesn't disappoint on 'Like A Bell' with the title track bouncing out of the gates with a tightly-produced, sample-led cut that keeps the energy high and a creative palette that keeps you guessing. 

'Just Vibin'' sees them collab with Sacha Robotti on an acid-tinged electro weapon that loops vocal samples over a groovy bassline from start to finish. Closing the EP with 'Like A Stone', Tau0n takes things down a decidedly darker route with a track that twists a mid-2000s electro vibe and morphs it into a percussive, techno growler. She loves playing and making records more than anything else in the whole world. She also enjoys singing.

Raised in an atmosphere bursting with passion for music, LOUISAHHH!!! (born Louisa Pillot) started singing and playing instruments at an early age before discovering a passion for DJing. Starting at age 17, sneaking into New York City clubs with fake IDs, LOUISAHHH!!! (a name chosen 'as a war cry or a shriek of delight') has since honed a style that is hard but deep, tough but tender.

After moving to Los Angeles in 2006, LOUISAHHH!!! became half of house-centric production duo NYCPARTYINFO, releasing records with Throne of Blood, Nurvous and Young Adults. However, it wasn't until friend Danny Daze requested some vocals for his group Senor Stereo that LOUISAHHH!!!'s talents as a singer began to shine, gaining more notoriety as modern classic 'Your Everything' climbed the deep house charts.

Amidst this whirlwind of excitement, a fateful meeting of French techno wonderkind, Brodinski spiraled into a fast friendship and eventual collaboration for Brodinski's young label, Bromance Records. With 'Let the Beat Control Your Body' and 'Nobody Rules the Streets' becoming peak-time anthems, and explosive vocal collaborations in the realms of both deep house and new techno, LOUISAHHH!!! was getting ready to release her own productions into the world.

2013 brings about LOUISAHHH!!!'s first serious solo EP on Bromance records. Supported by dynamic, emotional, ferocious DJ sets rife with technical finesse, LOUISAHHH!!! maintains that 'she is thrilled to be alive', and that her music is an active expression of this.
