Holed Coin - La Vela (Original Mix)

Gala Gala tells the story of a village bully. It will transport you to Alego region, western Kenya, where all villages tell of his behavior and of their tiredness of all his wrong doings.
The innovative style of Gala Gala could be called electronic Benga: it borrows a lot of influence from this sound born in the region of Lake Victoria, but is also merged with electronic sounds and arrangements.
The Artist Ngalah Oreyo is a musician and music producer from Kenya. He is a successful musician who founded the award winning band Yunasi, with four childhood friends.
After many years, of working with Yunasi, Ngalah Oreyo decided to venture on new ideas which involve experimenting a lot with traditional and electronic music.Gala Gala is the first song from his upcoming EP.

Mit „Train de Vie“ einer musikalischen Zeitreise, nehmen das Produzentenduo Doblhoff & Muck fein abgestimmt Bezug auf das legendäre Dolce-Vita- Feeling vergangener Tage. Anlass für diese Produktion war unter anderem das Palmers Making-Off der Spring/Summer Kollektion 2013

Vom „Zug fährt ab“ zum „Zug des Lebens“ 
Max Doblhoff: „Ursprünglich hieß das Projekt „Zug fährt ab“ und ist aus der Faszination der Sample Recordings der Wiener U-Bahn entstanden. Im Zuge meiner Recherche, ist mir der Track „ein Zug fährt ab“ von 1928 vom Berliner UFA Tanzorchester aufgefallen. In den 30iger Jahren war ja Swing tanzen verboten, da die Musik stark von afroamerikanischen Einflüssen geprägt war. Das war damals Undergroundmusik und wurde vorwiegend in Clubs gespielt. Letztendlich hat sich aus der Kombination meiner U-Bahn Recordings und den Swing Samples ein ganz neues Projekt entwickelt“ - es trägt den Titel „Train de Vie“. Max Doblhoff über seine aktuellste Veröffentlichung.

Doblhoff & Muck haben die wesentlichen Merkmale, den Charakter und die Melodie des ursprünglichen Songs weitgehend beibehalten und neu interpretiert. Mit seinen französischen Vocals verleiht Thierry Robert der Nummer den perfekten erotischen Feinschliff. Max Doblhoff hinterlässt auch in dieser Produktion seine unverkennbaren jazzig-groovigen Sounds am Schlagzeug.
