This track is a piano driven, alternative rock, cinematic sound style track. Zach wrote this song in an incredibly difficult time of his life; a time he refers to as "the Dark." The song is intended to bring hope to those in similar places, shedding light on the fact that we all go through hell at one time or another, but we will always come out on the other side if we hold on.

this is the first track I've ever had someone feature on. i wanted to bring Migi onto this track because he has an incredible ability to tell stories through his lyrics. i really wanted this song to tell the story of fighting to love someone who probably never really loved you in the first place. that is an incredibly painful place, and one that i never want to be in again.

i dreamt this song. literally. had it in a dream 3 years ago, recorded it when i woke up the day after. finally putting it out in real form. this song  is about reengaging with life after going through a trauma. thats where i was when i wrote/recorded it. recording this song was my way of saying that i wasn't finished, even when i was at a point when my life was in a rock bottom place.
