Born May 07th in 1988 in Sebokeng zone 13 to Johanness Mkhwane and Tlaleng Mirriam Kalake, he is the second eldest of four other siblings, three brothers named Martin, Paul , Mandla and a sister Relebohile Kalake. He grew up in Sebokeng his early memories of hip hop he recalls are performing for the first time at the Bophelong Ragga City “the response was overwhelming and started getting love from different people professionally”. His biggest musical influence is his dad because of his vast music collection “he’s always playing different sounds and styles of music, which taught me that as an artist you should never listen to a specific sound because that limits your creativity and versatility”.
 He states his childhood has played a big part in his art as now he can be more expressive than when he was younger “I never had a voice and I had so much to tell, and no one gave me a chance until, I pushed to write everything I wanted to share and express”.

His favorite track of all time has to be Hii power “for it motivates us as people to write our own history and build our pyramids so it motivates me to make sure that whatever I do must be documented in our history book and it must live on years after I’ve lived”.
