This song goes out to anyone who has ever had anyone make them feel like they weren’t worth it. 

“Worth It” is the realization of a failed friendship coming to an end. Your time, effort, and love will never be appreciated by someone who takes you for granted and cannot see your true value, despite all the things you’ve done for them. At some point, forgiveness becomes enabling and one must move on.  

I think no matter what someone does to you, it’s so important to forgive them. Holding on to hate or resentment is literally like holding on to poison in your heart. But, I do think it is okay to walk away, or as lovingly as you can, remove people from your life. 

Regardless of what you go through with someone, or what someone’s done to you, we must always still look inward and reflect on what caused the situation and take ownership of anything that we may have done wrong. One of the biggest decisions I ever made in my entire life was to, no matter what, take 100% responsibility for everything that happens to me in my life. I’ve also realized, even lately, that it’s not always personal when someone does hurt you. Some people are just lost, trapped in their own world, so concerned with themselves that they are completely unaware of their affect on other people. I really pray for those kinds of people, and I also pray for more awareness in myself to always be mindful about how I treat others. This song was written quite a while ago, and with everything I’ve been going through lately, I really am a different person. But I’m so grateful for how music enables me to share my feelings in a positive way that can have such a profound effect on someone. It has always been my own form of therapy, to turn something I go through into a song or form of art is such an amazing gift from God. I’m eternally grateful for all of you who resonate with anything I do. I will continue to be true to myself and put out the music I feel most resonates with me at each given moment. So happy to be back producing again. Huge shout out to my amazing manager Natasha and everyone at Lost in Dreams for the continued love and support. This song is my first solo track in a long time, but It was not completed all on my own. We all have people around us that we trust, so I want to thank all my friends / musicians who leant me their ears, knowledge and advice on “Worth It”! Love you all so much! And also to Vanic for killing this mix / master! 

I’ve been producing for such a long time, but this is the beginning of a brand new chapter for me as Zack Gray the DJ/Producer in the EDM space. I can’t wait to show you all what else I have coming and to bring you this amazing live show I have in my mind.
