In the Freedom EP, Blinded Theory together with NERV3 and 9THWAVE explore a kind of freedom that doesn’t always lead toward the light. Here, it’s the moment when the cage inside bursts open and the long-hidden beasts and shadows break free. Each track is a step down a narrow corridor where the walls vibrate under the pressure of the bass, and the rhythm tears through space like claws against steel.

This freedom doesn’t sound like a promise of peace, but like the instant you stop fearing your own monsters and let them speak for you. Melodies intertwine with dense percussion, building a pressure that grows until inner chaos transforms into an energy powerful enough to destroy everything around it.

Years ago, a young lad roamed around the plains of Alabama searching for a sign. Little did he know that during his travels, he would end up in the hills of Idaho and stumble upon a wizard named M. Warburton Tearonious the 3rd who would help him make all his wildest dreams come true.

What the new friends didn't know was that they each had a deep appreciation for creating sounds and sharing them with the world. As the time passed by, the young man who was once known as Shane Williams finally completed the first part of his mission - he soon adopted the name shwiLLy. Tearonious managed to clone recreate a holographic image of himself, so for this reason, he is now known as Double-T. 

The two then created one of the greatest tunes known to man. Beware for the sacred "Chokehold" of good luck.

It was a sunny afternoon in October at exactly sixteen hundred and twenty hours when I received a transmission from my brothers and sisters from way beyond the cosmos. It has become apparent, that a new musical movement is taking place throughout different regions of the galaxy - other species and lifeforms are starting to catching on to what it is that we have developed here on Earth, and why we are advancing spiritually and mentally at a sonic rate. 

These unique and peculiar sounds can often be found roaming through the interior mental barriers that fuel many members of this planet. Some might refer to them as Experimental Bass producers, others might call them Wook noise creators – but we like to refer to them as artists. As the final day of this decade comes to an end, we are preparing the last few adjustments to the Charlotte Sessions Audio rocket-ship before blasting off into outer space to assist with this intergalactic movement.

Because of sound engineers such as BroMosapien, shwiLLy, Double T, Snakko, Juwu, Draco, Sektr, and Malicious, we can now share an element that brings our people joy and happiness with our extraterrestrial neighbors.

shwiLLy & Thew - "Chokehold"

If you've been following us for a bit you understand the weird and wonky sounds we look to explore and uncover, one track at a time. If this is your first dive into the world of BLC, buckle your seatbelt because this one is about to throw you for a loop.

We connected with EYE10 a few weeks back with a mutual appreciation for out-of-the-box originality and an ear for experimental greatness. Hailing from Lafayette, LA, it was apparent that we were creating on similar wavelengths after checking out his collection of releases spanning the landscape of left field sounds.

"GUMGUMFRUIT" is a direct translation of EYE10's creative mindset, executed flawlessly as he pushes and pulls the folds of your brain with a sense of curiosity. His ability to take a deep dive outside of usual song constructs and create something unique to his sound is a beautiful thing and something we encourage all artists we work with to seek out. As we continue to dig into the wild west of bad luck, we appreciate artists like EYE10 that allow us to push the idea of "music" to new heights and put a spotlight on underground sounds.
