A little different for me. I used an antique upright piano sound for a more forlorn sound. The piece is built around an assigned 6 note sequence. It is intended to depict the feel of a dark, rainy night in the early hours of the morning.

6 Note Challenge - Dark Rainy Night

Using a 4 note motif, I've created a hypnotic, but soothing repeated passage & then underplayed it with a constantly moving left hand accompaniment. This was a challenge by the group Piano Soundboard. To come up with a tune that featured a 4 note motif. Using my tried & tested composition formula, I just turned on the recorder & improvised this in a one pass process. I hope this brings you some peace in a very busy world?
