Together from birth, two brothers united by their passion for music and more, Pongo is the latest sound evolution of Giovanni Bruni and Daniele Bruni. Growing up with a very similar musical culture, handed down in turn by their parents, the two brothers have always shared their art projects together. Giovanni started playing as a DJ in the early 2000s now enjoying success in the most famous clubs of the clubbing scene in Tuscany. Soon, his younger brother Daniele follows the same steps as supporting him in DJ sets and creating their first music projects together. In 2011, together with Luca L. and Elia C. founded the brand Yuma Recordings.In addition to the  label ,Yuma began to be known for the club event, Yuma Nights, and in 2013 the collective Yuma created the Vibe Club, a place that offered innovative sound in Italian nightlife. The brothers felt that they had to make their most personal productions, with which they can open up more towards a wider musical landscape.
 After a period of evolution in the studio in 2016, it's time to get back on stage for Giovanni and Daniele with their new Pongo project that takes shape with Giovanni on vocals. Their strong influences that fuses electronics, soul, and techno have created this new way of approaching the dancefloor: the combination of evocative song and a powerful and refined set.

Eric Estornel, AKA Maceo Plex, has revived his Mariel Ito alias to release two new EPs - one n R&S and the other on his own Lone Romantic - plus a retrospective LP on R&S. Titled '2000-20005,' the album highlights the Cuban-born producer's trademark driving percussion and hypnotic IDM. 
Today on Peak Time we premiered the remastered cut "Lovely."

Mariel Ito "Lovely" [PEAK TIME PREMIERE]

'The Dutch upcoming artist Colyn (@colynmusic) is the one who puts a stamp on the third EP of Infinite Depth. With two spacey and great mixed originals he laid more than a good foundation for the remixers. The title track ‘Passengers’ got remixed by the French brothers Esoteric Circle (@esotericircle) and the second original ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ got infused by the one and only Erly Tepshi (@erlyofficial).  

With the first track ‘Passengers’ the EP immediately starts off pretty determined. Soon the firm kick gets accompanied by a some pounding drums and well placed spacey synths, sounding like passengers finding their way through our universe chased by those thrilling drum sounds. 

Esoteric Circle managed to take the thrilling part of the original to a higher level with their remix. The spacey synths are making place for an appealing melody which increases the tension. This tension holds on till the very end of the track.

After being in a continuous state of space and tenseness the third track ‘Orbital Hypnosis’ adds some euphory. With its compelling break and hypnotical plucks it keeps you in a higher state of mind.  

Erly Tepshi’s remix takes you even a little bit higher by using this compelling melody as main flow through his remix. Only this flow makes some unexpected changes at the points Erly injected his typical, sometimes even distorted, plucked synths. With a heavy a breakdown almost at the end of the track this remix brings the EP to an end.'

The second edition of 'Terra Incognita' builds an epic union of the amazing producers and their breathtaking music pieces.
Greek producer Ziger and his 'After Midnight' became of the most successful Progressive House tracks of 2018, and now Ziger opens curtains of the release with 'Transparent' - a track, the pulsing energy of which lays the world of colorful melodies onto the right path.
The Lithuanian producer Kastis Torrau signed to Last Night On Earth and Visceral from the small pinch to mention comes up with our Mexican brother Betoko (Diynamic, Einmusika, KATERMUKKE) to deliver 'Raketa' - the bass-density track, which is looping you into the vibe with its crazy electric sounds from its first seconds till the last ones.
Our French friend Acumen, the label owner of Time Has Changed Recordings and the artist with a rich catalog where Selador, Leena Music, Tenampa just some to match, does 'Puppet' - a great melodic tune fitting to roll the mood of the night.
A very promising live act, the professional violinist and the producer from Germany Seth Schwarz puts his music mind together with Stephan Zovsky for 'Ometion' - lyrical and rich on progressions track, that's what we are very big fans of here.
Turkey-based producer Deniz Kabu combines a perfect match of the vocals, the progressions, and the acid sounds into a track which is called 'In A Life'; the track which has already seen another perspective from Diynamic label-boss Solomun during his sets.
That's how the unknown spots from the world illuminate all the spots of our big planet with music, as we set no boundaries. As a 'must'.
