Dystopia is one of the most outstanding tunes we have had recently. It combines a breakbeat base with contemporary mental, liquid sound. The cherry on top is the vocal from Lily Und Wolf? ?life is not tomorrow? ? probably we can all relate to that at some level.

As far as the remix is concerned, when it comes to quality we do not compromise, so we asked the underground icon, Martin Roth to rethink this tune, who accepted the challenge. We are delighted to have him on our label, and grateful for the support.
The Martin Roth remix definitely has the potential to become a club anthem in the autumn season. It is a banger peak time tune, no doubt about that. It takes you on a psy journey with a multitude of melodies and a groove that will make you dance till the very end.

Secrets is a bit different compared to the other two tracks, it is an uplifting peak time melodic house piece, full of joy and happiness. It stands out from the typical heavy sound that is so popular these days. The male vocal by Dcoverz perfectly fits the track. This tune reminds us to Ibiza, if you have ever been to the White Isle, you will know what we mean.

We also included an instrumental track in this release. Ypsilon is a high tech, top quality production. True underground sound (that's what Truesounds is all about) ? we wouldn't be surprised if many AAA artists would include it in their playlist.

The highlight-rich compilation includes Jamie Jones & Darius Syrossian's buzzy Drumcode debut 'Eyes of the Night', Nicole Moudaber's first DC release in 5 years with the mesmerizing 'This Is Us', Will Clarke's bass-drenched re-work of Adam Beyer & Bart Skils 'Your Mind' and Joey Beltram's first Drumcode release in 11 years with the retro-tinged 'Can You Feel It'.

The beloved Alan Fitzpatrick returns to the fold with the searing 'Heiße Rakete', alongside label mainstays Layton Giordani, who drops the stirring chord-driven 'Chrome' and Wehbba with 'Mantra', combining techno classicism with future-focused groove.

There's a troupe of debutants donning the Drumcode jersey for the first time, including BEC, Shelley Johannson, Anthony Castaldo, Avision, Zimmz, Woo York, SAMA (in a terrific collaboration with Secret Cinema) and Ilija Djokovic, who delivers a shimmering highlight with 'Aura', a particular favourite of Beyer's over the last year. Raxon also debuts on the label after a couple of quality additions to the Truesoul back catalogue.

Exciting young guns Weska and Juliet Fox bring heat to the compilation, while Veerus and Timmo follow up strong DC releases with a repeat dose. Elsewhere faithful contributors Ramon Tapia, Jay Lumen, Luca Agnelli, Marco Bailey and Mark Reeve craft powerful dancefloor weapons.

We welcome UK artist Ronnie Spiteri to Tronic with two huge originals and a remix from Dosem. Ronnie joins us on the crest of a wave with releases on We Are The Brave, Truesoul, and Knee Deep in Sound to name a few. His rolling tech style has also found favoured on the clubbing circuit with standout performances for Do Not Sleep, elrow and Sankeys.

Opening with 'Rough Rider' rubbery bass and tough kicks are soon joined by crisp hats and evolving side-chained pads. Add in some Jamaican Dub adlibs and you have all the ingredients for a Spiteri stadium rocker! 'Can You Feel It' is a deep vibe but no less rolling. Growing in intensity stabs ricochet around the space creating a uniquely energetic feel. Dramatic throughout, this is heads down late-night stomping at its finest. On the remix, Dosem opts for a slower, more hypnotic direction seeking out the original ideas as only he can.

Twelve months on from his outstanding debut album on Drumcode 'Transmission', Julian Jeweil returns with a stellar five-track EP.

Since his label debut in 2017 with EPs 'Rolling' and 'Space', Julian Jeweil has confirmed his place as one of Drumcode's most vital artists. He's been a mainstay of label events, playing the main stage of Drumcode Festival in both 2018 and 2019, Drumcode Halloween in '19 and multiple showcases at Watergate in Berlin. 'Transmission', his maiden LP, dropped in January 2019 and was an early year highlight, reinforcing his production nous.

Inspired by his experiences touring off the back of the album, 'Schema' EP offers up a quintuplet of cuts showcasing the rawer and ravier side of the Frenchman's sound. The title track is an immersive roller, primed for a Sunday session at Berghain. 'Outline' ups the intensity with cascading synth effects and galloping beats. 'Music' is the delicious brain-scrambler thanks to its intoxicating brew of shuffling beats, vox and swirling acid. 'Axis' is a slam dunk of industrial bass and 303s that builds to a grin-inducing climax. 'Landscape' plunges the atmosphere into deeper territory, still propelled by a pummeling bass and acidic inflections.

It’s time to bridge some gaps… AMPERS&ND is a brand-new label from the currently unstoppable UK techno duo OC & Verde. The latest venture in their meteoric rise since breaking through in 2016 as BBC Radio 1 Pete Tong's “Ones to Watch” – With the duo enjoying support from across the board from Solomun to Adam Beyer – the label promises to be an exciting new platform for the Manchester act. “Since we set out working together as OC & Verde we’ve always aimed to incorporate influences from both of our musical backgrounds into our own productions so that our music is very unique to us and through doing that we think we’ve developed our own signature sound,” they explain. “We have found ourselves bridging that gap between the deeper, groove ridden melodic side of techno to the harder more driving sound.” The label launches with ‘Only Human’, an undulating slab of rolling acid that’s at once restrained yet juggernaut-like in its power and weight. It’s a perfect fit for that vital playground between deeper and harder techno sounds OC & Verde have made home. “Finding ourselves in this middle lane is where we see our AMPERS&ND label standing musically,” they tell us. “It’s about bridging gaps and bringing things together. That’s what our label is all about.” Bridging gaps, bringing things together, building something new… AMPERS&ND is here, and they’re only just warming up.

Hot off the back of a contribution to A-Sides Vol.9, Victor Ruiz returns for his second EP on Drumcode.

The Brazilian artist has been an industrious contributor to DC over the past 12 months, beginning with his excellent debut EP 'Nimbus' last May. Since then, he's played Drumcode Festival, was part of the iconic Warehouse Project party in November and also featured in the first Drumcode Indoors session in March. His production prowess will be fresh in the minds of DC faithful after 'Intuit', his collaboration with Thomas Schumacher, was a standout of the recent A-Sides Vol.9 compilation.

The 'Freedom' EP is Ruiz's next offering and emblematic of the creative breakthrough he experienced while crafting the four-track work. The title track is led by hypnotic rhythms and deep bass stabs before a vox enters the fore and builds to a delicious climax. 'Illusions' is a pulsating bassline-led groover that builds alongside mystical vocal effects. 'Senses' exudes an understated touch of Detroit soul and is a handy DJ tool for varying occasions. 'Existence' is a searing late-night techno affair, as layers of melody and swelling pads conjure a thrilling laser-kissed atmosphere.

Morttagua brings to Timeless Moment what could be one of his strongest tracks to date in the brand new single "The Mantra".

"The Mantra" is a track built around a beautiful worship mantra for the lord Shiva. Mahadeva better known as Shiva is one of the principal deities of Hinduism. He is the Supreme Being within Shaivism, one of the major traditions within contemporary Hinduism.

With melody themes and atmospheres surrounding it's amazing vocal work, 'The Mantra' shines for its supreme hypnotic dance floor appeal. With Morttagua's trademark melodic riffs and astonishing sound design coupled with a strong percussion work this track is a true candidate to become an anthem in this summer season.

Luigi Madonna returns for his first Drumcode EP in five years, teaming up with fellow Neapolitan and label favourite Roberto Capuano.

We got our last taste of the creative synergy that marks Luigi Madonna and Roberto Capuano's friendship when the pair dropped 'Limitless' in 2017, a brilliant addition to A-Sides Vol.6. Prior to that Luigi hadn't dropped a cut on DC since 2015's hook-driven 'Magic Land', while Capuano stands as one of the label's most infallible contributors, last year's 'The Walker' EP was typically impressive.

Crafted between two studios in a pre-COVID-19 world, the three-track conceptual EP opens with 'Mad World', as masterfully layered industrial hits and rides depict it's narrative, while a pulsating melodic lead ensures heavy impact. 'System Alert' is inspired by the destructive effects of climate change and the track's composition mirrors this malaise, as a pitch-bending synth elicits rhythmic chaos alongside Luigi and Roberto's deft drum work. 'Headquarter' is steeped in drama and cinematic charm, backed by a distorted vocal sample, stormy oscillating synths and a sharp percussive backdrop.

A rare treat for Drumcode faithful: A-Sides Vol.10 is set to drop in December, the second edition of the beloved series to come in 2020.

Fuelled by the extra time and space to be creative during lockdown, Drumcode's collective of artists have stepped up. Across 17 contributions, the producers have gone deeper into their sonic repertoire, crafting powerful, yet reflective works that capture the range of the label's sound.

There's even a special appearance by the chief Adam Beyer, who makes a welcome return with the progressive-tinged 'Changes', driven by organic tones and spacey atmospherics. The track stands as his first original contribution to A-Sides since 2017.

Matteo Vitanza - Show Me Galaxies (Extended Version)

Part of the new brigade of artists making their mark on the label, Veerus lands his fifth release in two years on Drumcode.

With a pair of EPs and numerous contributions to the coveted A-Sides compilation under his belt since his debut in 2018, Veerus has established himself as a talented go-to producer for Adam Beyer; from his stirring cut 'Hypnosis' that highlighted the Drumcode founder's Cercle performance, to the killer 'System' that provided an early 2020 moment for the label. His consistent vein of form will result in a coveted spot at Drumcode Festival Malta 2021 in September.

'Recovery' continues the Italian's talent for crafting powerful melody-led techno projections. The title track is an ace. What begins as a smoky atmospheric cut is quickly elevated to beast status as intergalactic robot stabs shatter the mist, while an acid-underbelly adds to the mood. 'Dysfunction' brims with a distinct 90s synth aesthetic, propelled by a crisp and classy bottom end.
