January 2012 - "Zaggasaurus - Transitions Mix"

After a beautiful yet tumultuous 2011, we have finally arrived at the start of 2012, a year many have been waiting for in anticipation of a great transition in consciousness. This mix is meant to reflect both the light and the dark in this period of change and transformation. It also infuses the element of love in the story told, as well as an underlying layer of personal and communal empowerment through music. 
As in all transitions and transformations there is an element of rawness and imperfection, this mix too reflects that at certain points just enough to emphasize the hurdles and often difficult obstacles we are faced with in moments of change and re-alignment.

Hailing from the age of giant beasts who roamed the earth, Zaggasaurus brings you colossal bass frequencies unearthed from the depths of gravel and volcanic dust left behind by the meteor which nearly put our planet to rest. The emotions felt throughout his sets pierce deep into your soul and grab hold of the primal nature within you. Focused on deep bass and musically ethereal melodies, this dinosaur stomps and womps over all that is unnatural, destroying the boundaries and social constructions holding humanity back from its transcendental nature.
Though you will mostly see him wading through the cosmic matrix in Santa Cruz and the Bay Area, he is making great strides towards the distance where signs of his ancestors are often heard and honored as deities, calling on all bass-heads to unite and spread the ideology of the divine.
