John Digweed, Nick Muir and Franky Wah have turned out two fantastic tracks that have so far gone down a storm from London to Ibiza where they road tested fresh out of the studio and they definitely did some damage which is hardly surprising considering the calibre of the names involved. Large.

This unstoppable duo are super excited about this one feeling its their best yet, which having had monster singles, remixes and album releases on some of the most well respected and revered dance labels, thats quite an arresting statement! "Orlo's Theme" embraces some of the melodic and progressive stylings the duo are well known for and mixes in more pumping techno drum sounds and sees them embrace a housier vibe with the lead riff; a real anthemic hands-in-the-air stabby synth chord that transports you instantly somewhere special and is a massive call-to-the dancefloor moment certain to get people losing their minds. From blowing up the main Ibiza clubs at the end of the season to ADE, this record will likely only grow in stature for quite some time to come.

Open Records are proud to present our long awaited third CD compilation Expansion Pack, compiled by label boss and pioneering force in the Australian underground dance music culture, Ian Woodman.

Anyone who knows the man himself, knows that Woodsman doesn’t do anything in halves. So when it came to the task of putting together his own compilation at the start of the year, one disc alone was never going to cut it.

After months in the lab, he is finally ready to give us Expansion Pack, a 2-disc collection of deep, intelligent, genre-mashing dance music, held together with Ian’s distinctly staunch, epic sound that has earned him the title of one of Australia’s favourite open-air DJs.
