تعكس اغنية حيّد الحياة السياسية والاجتماعية في فلسطين، حيث تدور احداثها حوالي سنة 1936 في ثورة فلسطين الكبرى اثر القمع والظلم القائم من قبل الانتداب البريطاني.
تدور احداث حيّد بين غبيشي الثائر وحسنى الجميلة بحبهما لبعضهم البعض. تقدم غبيشي بطلب يد حسنى ولكنه تم الرفض من قبل ابيها للاختلاف الطبقي الاجتماعي. 
هرب غبيشي وحسنى مما ادّى لاستعانة ابيها بالقائد ابو حنيك (قائد بيريطاني المعروف بجون غلوب) لقتل غبيشي واستعادة ابنته حسنى.
لقد قمت باستعمال صوت مسجل لبدرية يونس وهي فنانة عاشت في 1950 واضافة توزيعي وصوتي اليها لتجسيد حالة غبيشي وحسنى وأداء الاغنية التراثية. 
The story behind Hayyed 
“ Hayyed '' reflects the Palestinain life in a political and social aspect. Ghbeshi is a Jordanian bedouin who went to palestine to help his brothers fight oppression and injustice caused by the British colony in 1936.
As a result, Ghbeshi and Hasna chose to flee, prompting Hasna's father to request that "Abu Haniek", a British officer in the Jordanian Arab Army, return Hasna to his family. Abu Haniek not only accepted the offer, but he also dispatched a squad army equipped with mortars and tanks. Ghbeshi battled heroically but was killed in the end, leaving Hasna to narrate the story of her beloved man.

The inspiration behind “martyr's Journey " 

Art has been one of the most influential tools to showcase norms, traditions and conflicts, thus I have wanted to flip the equation this time by walking through the heart of the palestinian cities (Bethlehem, Ramallah) and record the depth of our suffering through the years, I have mangaged to record churches, mosques, demonstrations, traffic jams and gunshots. On the other hand, I want to share the tragedy of many Palestinian families losing their beloved ones, by protesting in demonstration or defending their home from being demolished. 


In this track I have decided to take a different approach to compose it. By walking through the heart of Palestinian cities, you’re able to hear churches, mosques, traffic jam, demonstrations and gun shots giving you a glimpse of history. As a result, I've recorded sounds that show the depth of our pain throughout time and convey the tragedy of many Palestinian families who have lost loved ones during demonstrations in defense of their right to exist.

Libre Palestina was born out of the deep pain and urgency in response to the ongoing genocide in Gaza. The song gives voice to the unheard cries of Palestinian children and reflects the silence of the world in the face of this brutality. Through a powerful blend of voices from the Palestinian Folklore Choir of elder women and a youth choir, the live session becomes more than a performance — it’s a declaration of unity across generations. Together, they sing as one people, standing resilient in the face of daily injustice, echoing a call for liberation, dignity, and hope.

تحيا فلسطين، استنشادا للألم العميق والنداء العاجل الناتج عن الإبادة المستمرة في غزة. تُجسّد الأغنية صرخات الأطفال الفلسطينيين غير المسموعة، وتعكس صمت العالم أمام هذه الوحشية. ومن خلال دمج أصوات جوقة الفولكلور الفلسطيني من النساء الكبيرات في السن مع جوقة الشباب، يتحول هذا العرض الحي إلى أكثر من مجرد أداء فني؛ إنه إعلان عن وحدة الشعب الفلسطيني عبر الأجيال. نحن نغني معًا، كشعب واحد، صامد في وجه الظلم اليومي، ونعيد صدى نداء للتحرير والكرامة والأمل.

أبو سمرة هو قمح بلدي قديم له قدرة عالية على تحمل العطش. وهو محصول بعلي فلسطيني يزرع في نوفمبر في المناطق شبه الصحراوية ونحصده في مايو وهو اخضر لنحصل على الفريكه. تم الاحتفاظ ببذور أبو سمر لقرون، ولكن في الآونة الأخيرة فقدت، ونسيت. عندما يتذكر الناس هذه الحبوب اللذيذة يشيرون إليها على أنها الحب المفقود منذ فترة طويلة أو أبو سمرة – اي الوسيم! لكن الخطر يكمن في أننا أصبحنا مستهلكين لا منتجين : لا عليك من استخدام خيالك، لا عليك من التفكير، فقط اشتر واتبع التعليمات. 
إن اعتماد ممارسات الزراعة التجارية يسمم تربتنا، وصحتنا، ويحول ممارستنا الزراعية التي تعتمد على الشمس والمطر والتربة إلى زراعة تعتمد على بيوت البلاستيك والادوية الكميائية والتي بدورها تسبب اختفاء هذه الأصناف بفعل الاحتباس الحراري. "تمثل هذه الأنواع الموروثة هويتنا الثقافية، من نحن ومن نكون يحمله الحمض النووي لهذه البذور. لدينا قول في فلسطين 'هي التي تأكل من أدواتها الخاصة تفكر بعقلها الخاص'، مما يعني أنك إذا كنت مسيطراً على مصدر طعامك فأنت مسيطر على مصيرك. في هذه البذور تمكن قدرتنا على ان نكون مستقليين.

A Palestinian Baali crop that is planted in November in this semi-desert area and we harvest it in May while green to make hearty Freekeh. Abu Samra seeds have been treasured and passed down for centuries, but in more recent times have been lost, and forgotten. When people remember this delicious grain they refer to it as the long lost love or Abu Samra- Arabic for dark and handsome! The danger is that we are becoming consumers not producers; you don’t have to use your imagination, you don’t have to think, just buy and follow the instructions. The adoption of agribusiness practices is poisoning our soil, our health, and transforming our agricultural practice that sun, rain, and soil based to that of the greenhouse, plastic, and chemical one causing the disappearance of these varieties. “These heirloom varieties represent our cultural identity, who we are is living in the DNA of these seeds. We have a saying in Palestine ‘She who eats from her own tools thinks with her own mind’, which means if you are in control of the source of your food then you are in control of your destiny. These seeds carry the ability for us to be autonomous”.
