Off The Grid christens its record label with a first release composed by very close people to the heart of its functioning. On the A1 we find a melancholic optimist house cut, made in collaboration by Ancut, head-mastering engineer from Analogcut, and Onirik, OTG’s head honcho. A2 features Onirik’s solo offering, a trippy dreamy off kilter cut, ideal for warm-up or early hours. The B-side belongs to Views, already responsible for a couple of releases on Garage Hermétique, one of the founding labels of Off The Grid, who wraps up two tracks full of atmospherical punchiness, clubby IDM, with his signature acid basslines and storytelling.

For the very first episode of our podcast series, we’re thrilled to feature Alex, a talented DJ originally from Bucharest, Romania, who has been living in Berlin for the past seven years. Alex’s journey into the world of music is deeply rooted in his upbringing, surrounded by electronic sounds from an early age. However, it wasn’t until he turned 16 that he took his first personal steps into DJing. In a moment of youthful spontaneity, Alex used Christmas money—meant for a new skateboarding setup—to secretly purchase his first DJ controller, marking the beginning of his musical journey.

Over the past two years, Alex has cultivated a unique style that thrives of his mood and instincts, ranging from goofy tracks to darker selections. Instead of adhering strictly to one vibe, Alex crafts his musical narratives in the moment, making each performance a unique experience for the audience.
