“A dream won’t manifest without hard work (putting it into action)”, declares American singer/songwriter, Zaire Danaé. Inspired by many great artists both young and old, she is most inspired by Aaliyah - from the baggy style clothes to the mesmerizing grace and softness of her voice. “I want my music to be healing. A muse. A vibe that makes people feel good”, she adds.
 
Surrounded by several singing family members, and her famous granddad, Bernard Gibson of the Temptations Review, her love and understanding for music was manifested when she was around five years old. Born in Pontiac, Michigan, and raised in the church with a well-grounded upbringing – singing solos, participating in plays, skits and other youth activities has prepared Zaire Danaé for greatness. She would later be discovered by Tim McCall to feature on a song, “Fairytale” by Reckless2Society, an aspiring rap group from Detroit.
 
Just miles from Detroit, where many great aspiring artists are overlooked, this young and vibrant artist wanted her Savage EP (released April 1, 2020) to tell a story of her life’s experiences, in hopes it would break the barrier and open doors for more artists in the area. Beginning that story was her first single co-written with Chiquita S.D. Fuller, ‘Appreciate Me’, released in August 2019.
