Fellow Dutch #1 DJ and longtime Bingo Players supporter, Hardwell unveiled his latest remix for current single, ‘Knock You Out’ on one of the biggest dance podcasts in the world, ‘Hardwell On Air’ . 
 
The track premiered in HOA168 and comes off the five-track Bingo Players EP Knock You Out Remixes available on iTunes June 17th. The EP features additional remixes from Gorgon City, Champion and Flaxo. The Hardwell Remix is available on Beatport exclusively on June 2nd through Hysteria/Positiva Records.
 
Hardwell debuts the song following the video premiere for ‘Knock You Out’ which debuted last week onIdolator.com and is “an incredibly special song, as it was one of the songs Paul and I worked on together before he passed away,” said Bingo Players’ Maarten Hoogstraten. With their second single release from their longplayer "Connected", AKA AKA & Thalstroem invite the singer Jim Hickey into the studio. With his soulful, almost fragile voice Hickey weaves a sound carpet of emotions on the complex beat of AKA AKA & Thalstroem which, with his reduced tempo, builds up an enormous groove until the break. When the guitar play of Thomas Moked unfolds to an inspirational source of harmonies, Hickey's voice starts the prelude to the ecstatic climax of the song.
Dan Caster's remix takes many elements of the original, forces up the tempo and clearly shows that it's meant for the dancefloor. While using the original vocal Caster puts it on a high pitch on the middle part, giving it a serious recognizability; Teenage Mutants divergs quite a bit more from the original and concentrates on his crystal clear bassline and concise drums, which are broken up through spacy layers and wide opening synths and even while having a 4-to-the-floor mix, give time to dream and flow with the music.

2015 was a pretty exciting year for AKA AKA & Thalstroem. To emphasize the special connection to their fans, they’ve consequently named their second album „Connected“. Being the home base of AKA AKA & Thalstroem, Burlesque Musique has established itself as a creative platform introducing talented newcomers like umami or Joachim Pastor since more than six years now. Without any boundaries in mind and heart, they’re not just looking for catchy melodies or the next dance floor hymn, the Berlin label still keeping its eyes open for strong characters.
The two Mannheim-based artists Ohmyboy & Wöllstein might fit into the latter category, but calling them newcomers would be slightly out of place. Especially because Ohmyboy is just another project of 28-year-old multi-talent Niels Reinhard, who received numerous prizes for his work as a motion graphic designer and cutter, doing both shooting short movies as well as producing dance tracks between synth-pop, electro and techno. With the singer Wöllstein, he already teamed up in some of his previous works, but it’s their first appearance as Ohmyboy & Wöllstein. „Fuck Privacy“ is a remarkable statement that addresses the tension between transparency and privacy. Where’s the line between security and private life, who’s authentic within social media and what does love got do with it? The duo evokes several questions while the minimal tech-house gem is unfolding its infectious groove with a prancing bass line and Wöllstein’s insistent voice. „Fuck Privacy“ is somehow both: subtle sarcasm as well as an emphatic warning. This kind of thoughtful hedonism is pretty rare and really impressive! With their remix, label mates umami are following a way more stringent path, but away from the rattling claps, it’s the robot-like vocal shreds with which the Berlin duo is also commenting on today’s digital age.

Welcome to the 124th chapter of the Deep Electronics Podcast. This weekly posted podcast brings you the best deep electronic music. This week is Claudio Casparini his turn to bring a more dubtech, dubhouse related mix. Enjoy!

Bio:

Claudio was born in Turin (Italy) at the end of the eighties. As a young man claudio he approaches the music by playing guitar,in adolescence begins to fall in love of the electronic music. Atmospheric sounds , hot pads , deep bass and melodic leads were for him love at first listen! At the age of 15 he buy his first deck and began to collect vinyls, techno, house, progressive and ambient are the preferred styles. Claudio at 17 age begins playing at private parties, in 2008 some of his sets are transmitted on radio exogroove. At 20 age Claudio approaches the world of keyboards and began playing the piano and organ. Specialized as operator electronic, Claudio begins to repair old analog synthesizers, the buying and selling are his hobby. He is currently studying the sound synthesis and modulation to recreate a day a his personal style.

The collaboration came about after both acts met up on the global festival circuit throughout 2012. Creative emails flew back and forth across Europe before the trio finally settled on the skeleton of ‘Mammoth’ as a potential new track. Speaking about the collaboration from his studio in Germany, MOGUAI said, “The track is not so far away from my own solo work. I said to myself, with the right mix this could be something huge, so we got into the studio together and at the end, we had the finished mix that you know now.”
 
A delicious slice of skewed electronica with ‘fist-pump’ written all over it, this titan of a track packs as much energy as it does technical class; crashing bass sections, warped synths and a huge breakdown combining the strengths of both production elements in one fell swoop. ‘Mammoth’ displays the extensive array of musical influences that these two world-renowned acts are constantly drawing their inspiration from, fusing everything together seamlessly for an anthem that will surely be an enormous smash in clubs and at festivals all over the world throughout 2013.
