Emerging Tel Aviv-based artist Mishell brings his signature blend of playful, psychedelic-infused house and indie dance to Get Physical Music with the Cantina EP. Drawing inspiration from Brazilian music and culture, the four tracks fuse percussive energy, catchy melodies, and vibrant collaborations into an irresistible dancefloor experience.

Known for his authentic grooves, sharp pacing, and the skillful weaving of house and indie dance with psychedelic references, Mishell’s productions oscillate between darker textures and melodic build-ups, creating cheeky yet elegant beats that captivate audiences globally. The ‘Cantina EP’ showcases his playful yet refined style in full force.

The EP opens with ‘Tokato,’ a collaboration with Brazilian funk pioneer Deize Tigrona, an artist from Rio de Janeiro, who brings her bold lyrics and unmistakable voice to ‘Tokato,’ adding electrifying energy. The track is a punchy indie dance anthem layered with infectious baile funk-inspired percussion and Tigrona’s iconic vocal flair. A driving percussion loop sets the foundation, while catchy synth melodies amplify the track’s high-energy groove. The second track, ‘Only You,’ is a minimalist house gem, blending a classic piano lick with modern indie dance influences. Its groovy bassline and standout synth hook make it an excellent choice for DJs seeking a fresh yet timeless sound.

‘El Gato,’ adds a post-punk-inspired edge with driving rhythms, edgy female vocals, and funky guitar chords, delivering an unmistakable vibe perfect for late-night sets. Closing the EP is ‘Riot,’ a collaboration with fellow Tel Aviv artist Oi. This stripped-down, modern Afro-Brazilian track features a rolling bassline, groovy percussion, and hypnotic Portuguese vocal refrains, capturing the raw energy of Brazil’s favela culture while maintaining a minimal and captivating groove.

The Cantina EP captures the essence of Mishell’s dynamic artistry while highlighting the rich textures of Brazilian music and culture.
