07. Super8 & Tab - My Enemy (feat. Julie Thompson)(Rank 1 Remix)

The seeds of Zocalo were planted in early 2003 when Dave handed a demo of "As The Rush Comes" to Armin when he was playing at the Mayan in downtown LA. The next day Armin called Dave to tell him how much he loved the song and that he wanted to sign it to the label he was starting called Armada Music, thus becoming one Armada's first releases.

At that point, Armin wanted to get into the studio with us and create an original song together. In the fall of 2003 we went to Armin's house in Leiden, NL to create something. We spent a week in his studio and made a demo titled "16 Days Ago"  that we liked but didn't love. And thus, it never was finished.

Two years later, Armin got a copy of our song "Arcadia" and once again, this opened the conversation for us to collaborate. After the Winter Music Conference that year, we all headed to San Leandro, California to create something together in the studio and this is exactly what was made that first week of April, 2005.

While we were making the song, Armin and Dave decided to walk down the street to the local Zocalo Coffeehouse to get an afternoon pick-me-up. Armin loved their coffee so much that he decided that "Zocalo" should be the name of the song. We both agreed and the rest is dance music history.

Ferry Corsten's "Beautiful" is written by Ben Cullum, Debra Andrew and Ferry Corsten himself. The track is taken from Ferry's second artist album "L.E.F.", that got released on May 26, 2006 via Flashover Recordings. The album contains tracks such as "Fire" (with Duran Duran's Simon LeBon), "Into The Dark" (with Howard Jones), "Junk" (with Guru), "Galaxia" and more.
