Deep Down Progressive Sounds 10: April 2016

Majority of the tracks from this month's DDPS are from the warmup set i played alongside with Simon Lovell for Max Graham at the launch of our new brand Bootz N Catz. 
Simply unreal vibes and music. Just wanna thank every single one of you who showed up and partied with us till 4:15am. According to Max, this was simply perfect and he cannot wait to come back. 

The atmosphere and the crowd was incredible :) This is just the beginning!! Me and Simon have already started planning the next one.

Deep Down Progressive Sounds 13: July 2016

A very special episode this month as DDPS gets it's first guest mix! 

MoodFreak alias Stephan Pietack started making music when he got his hands on his first AMIGA 500 and some tracker software that he cannot recall the name of. Influenced by techno and rave in the early 90´s, drum´n´bass in the mid 90´s and trance in the late 90´s it was the sound of progressive trance/house that caught his attention again in 2006. 

Acts like Andy Moor, Boom Jinx and Hybrid just to name a few brought new groove and depth into melodical dance music. Depth that he was missing for a long time.
Inspired by those new sounds Stephan decided to take up producing seriously. 

With one of his first remixes for Lustral - In my life he was voted 2nd place in the remix competition and was only beaten by the almighty Mat Zo. 

Remixes for big names like Arty, Dennis Sheperd, Jan Johnston, Cressida and Sequentia - just to name a few - soon followed. 

His releases were featured in radioshows and podcasts by big names like Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Paul Oakenfold, Jaytech and many more.

He also picked up DJing and has just started his new monthly podcast "MoodFreak´s Music Box". As a DJ you can expect him playing everything from Progressive House to Deep House to Progressive Trance...as long as the music touches his heart or simply gets his feet to dance.


 Mike Koglin and Stephan Pietack have also recently just started their own record label based in Berlin called Yomo Records 

YOMO is Japanese for „every direction"

This month i present you a very special 3 hour Guest Mix from legendary artist Chris Fortier (Fade Records).

This set was recorded live at his recent South American Tour in August at 
 Club La Boite in Tucuman, Argentina. 

There are few individuals within the underground dance music industry able to match Chris Fortier for both influence and achievement over the last two decades. With a mandate predicated upon the deceptively simple notion of "constant musical evolution", the founder and owner of the globally renowned Fade Records, is not constrained by boundaries, reflected in both the music he plays and creates.

Marko Cubric, known to the world as Vintage & Morelli, ​ is Serbia’s leading house, progressive, and trance producer. Welcome to another edition of DDPS with a flawless Guest mix from the shining star of Coldharbour Recordings, SOLIDSTONE!!!

The Solid Stone project started back in early 2010, behind it Canadian producer Elias Barouche started to make his mark. His very first releases were already supported by likes of Above and Beyond, Markus Schulz to nam a few. After he was settled in with his own sound, it became clear that Solid Stone would be a name to look out for in the near future.

Having almost all of his recent productions championed by Armin Van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Max Graham and pretty much all of the Trance elite, Solid Stone is making some real waves over the last six months, showing what a shining light he really is and looks set for a huge future!
