Hello world I go by Zant Hakeem. I’m an aspiring hip hop artist from New Orleans, La. Previously I’ve gone by the name “Gunna Zant” which sparked from affiliation with a New Orleans based rap group called “Gunna Squad” which I’ve created in 1999. We were separated and forced to pursuit solo careers due to Hurricane Katrina. From here on in, I go by the name “Zant Hakeem” because I felt it is more ingenious/universal, and it describes me a person….a wise learned man whom one can come to for positive advice. Basically I’m a lyrically inclined, rare dope artist with a down south flow with an up north style who actually has an interesting story to tell.
