So I just HAD to do this Capital Kings remix, because I love Capital Kings so much, and this song was just TOO GOOD of material to pass up. Although I would have liked to see the winning remix to be officially released (Gotee Records??? hint hint)...So here is my remix. I spent a lot of time working on it, and it's not as good as it could have been if my computer could actually handle my song project (I need a new computer or an upgrade or something)...I had to keep exporting it, then going back in and tweaking it. It was hard and tedious, but I'm pretty happy with the outcome. ENJOY, and may the best remix win!! :) And may God be glorified in it all!

Now about the song: This fella called Movediz showed me a few of his songs and asked me if I'd do a remix of one of them for him. I usually don't do random remixes like that unless I know the artist, but these songs he showed me were REALLY good....which is rare to find in undiscovered people (mostly because there's a reason that many undiscovered people are undiscovered). Anyway, I loved the song, and spent forEVER making my remix. This remix was the biggest project (in terms of how many instruments/sounds in the project) that I've ever done, with Golden City a close second. So my computer absolutely could not play the song in real time, so I had to keep exporting it and stuff...blah. In English, this means that it was super hard work to make. Anyway, ENJOY my craziest, most chaotic dubstep song to date! ;)

"Bitter Tears" has a very interesting mix of emotions in it--from a noble, triumphant sound, to a sad, deep feeling. The song is actually a Christmas song about how Christ came "like a sheep among wolves; to be the hero of the story we've been told". Although it is a Christmas song, it does focus more on the fact that Jesus came to suffer and be hated by mankind--to be trampled on by the very ones he came to save. This hymn is really pretty. This is also one of the very few fully live performances of mine that I have. I don't do this kind of thing too often. I'd like to thank G&D Records for allowing me a spot on this album again. I love making music for "This Is Christian Dubstep" albums.

So I decided to do something a little different this year (doing things differently is something I rarely do......yeah right). This year's track, "Warfare", is a lot different, because it's 108 BPM, so a much different feel, and also has a full track's worth of vocals, which isn't quite the normal dubstep sound. BUT the drops are heavy and so I think you'll like it! I guess it at least makes for some fresh listening. Go help us out by buying it today!

I had multiple people tell me I should enter this remix contest, and although the vocals and song style weren't anything near my normal sound, I thought they were good quality (and great lyrics!!) and good material to work with, so I gave it a shot. This is another one of those "make-it-all-in-one-sitting" remixes. Probably took me about 5 1/2 hours or so. I really like the randomness of all the sounds in this song. It has some serious variety, from "epic" to "funky" to "hip-hoppy" and beyond. So I hope you like it! I sure had a fun time on this unique song!
