Then censor truth when it gets political

They marched for the unborn, loud in the street
But when the sick cried out, they stayed in their seat
They post with conviction, they shout in pride
But duck the Spirit when He won’t stay tied

They say “God is love” — if it fits their plan
Then cut out the parts where He moves by hand
They quote the law, then roll their eyes
When tongues and healing refuse to die

Is marching more holy than preaching the Word?
Are feelings more sacred than truth they once heard?
Is being green better than the Spirit’s call?
They traded the gospel for football and fall
They shout for the world, but silence the Son
Now the Spirit is moving — they’d better not run

They judged the world but not their doubt
They picked the Word apart and left the Spirit out
They called out sinners, bold on stage
But locked up everyone with a man-made cage

They’ll come from the east, come from the west
Sit with the fathers while they protest
They thought He was soft, polite, and sweet
But He warned of fire and gnashing teeth

“Oh, we don’t do miracles — that’s not sound”
But they’re fine with a doctrine that’s tradition-bound
“We don’t cast out demons, we debate instead”
Then cast out the prophets and raise the Westminster dead
