For @fafi-abdel-nour, music is a means of building community. The Syrian-born, Amsterdam-based artist looks to make a better future through human connections. He does so with his own LHBTQIA+ club night concept BUTTS at OOST in Groningen where he plays a free-spirited mix of records with real soul. They come from across the genre spectrum and mix up the old and the new, always with love as the messages and ecstatic sensations in high supply. 

Fafi has a way of effortlessly winning you over with his smooth grooves, and that is evident right from the start here: balmy house sweeps you up and douses you in positive cosmic vibrations and that sense of warmth never dissipates through faster, jazzier house, thumping euphoria and nonstop neon grooves. Every slick transition turns up the temperature a notch and takes you ever closer to real dance floor nirvana.

We’re happy to look back at a truly memorable night: On March 12th, 2025, we hosted our latest edition of New Faces at the legendary Tresor Berlin – with an opening set by our dear friend SXCL that set the tone beautifully.

Starting the night with raw, clashy techno energy, SXCL wove in timeless Detroit elements while steadily pushing the tempo forward. The percussive, fast-paced flow created just the right momentum for what was to come.

Not just an opening – but a strong introduction. Focused, unfiltered, and in line with what Scheißmukke is all about.

Looking back on March 12th at @tresorberlin, we’re glad to share another highlight from that night.

Our member Schönfeld took on closing duties, guiding the floor through the final stretch with precision and patience. His set unfolded gradually, leaning into murky textures, tight percussion, and just the right amount of pressure to hold the room.

A low-key but confident finish – no theatrics, just a clear sense of direction. Exactly how we like it.

The set has been recorded Friday night, the 30th of May, at RSO Berlin. It‘s progressive, sometimes trippy and tribal and moves slowly into sharper, pumping dub-infused techno. It carries on a touch of psychedelia that appears sudden but steady and is accompanied by a rolling, pulsating bass and dreamy, fading melodies that often come with steamy vocals. It aims to showcase diverse soundscapes from different backgrounds that are blended to a journey through different spheres of prog and techno.
