Andre Android is a producer DJ from Moscow.

A long time friend of Apex recordings, Android has been running a DJ Academy based in Moscow for the last few years. Androids productions have featured on Apex records back in the past, now he comes back to us with and updated sound and 5 incredible tracks for the techno dance floor.

Each track has an incredible level of production, 

Ground Zero the title track revolves around a techno drone and fantastic rubber band bass riff.
Drop The Bass is a driving techno track with a voice stab and hypnotic groove
I'm Faimost is a deeper almost minimal track with a long vocal sample
Pitch Black has a 6/8 feel and revolves around a deep riff
Resonate is bouncy with more elastic bass sounds.

Sunday Sessions SE01E14 26/07/2020

Amsterdam Techno Sessions is a weekly Techno event, held every Thursday in Amsterdam. We are delighted to have partnered with Threads radio to create our first radio show. In every show, we will invite local and international acts to showcase their work. 

For our ninth episode, we invited the Hydraulix head honcho and London´s favorite, D.A.V.E The Drummer! Hailing from London’s illegal warehouse party scene that exploded in the 90’s, DJ & producer D.A.V.E. The Drummer started the techno label Hydraulix in 1998 as an output for his own production ideas. The label intended to bridge the gap between the Acid Techno of his previous productions and a darker style of techno that D.A.V.E. was experimenting with in the studio. 

Hydraulix made some big waves in the Hard Techno scene throughout the 2000’s and is still going strong with many of the new releases hitting the top spots in the Beatport Hard Techno Charts. 

Tracks from Hydraulix have found their way into the playlists of some of the world’s top DJs as well as keeping a huge following of underground Techno DJs across the globe.

D.A.V.E’s recent music reflects a shift toward a darker stripped back techno sound and the label is still at the forefront of the techno scene winning respect from many DJs and taking on board fresh young artists as well as releasing tracks by seasoned Hydraulix regulars.

Still a hard-working DJ and Producer, D.A.V.E. is responsible for remixes and productions for many great techno labels over the years including Suara, Harthouse, Fine Audio, Noom, Reklusive, Respect, Naked Lunch, Phobiq, Elektrax, Techburst, Cluster, S.U.F. Routemaster, Smitten and of course Hydraulix, Apex and Mutate To Survive.
