Her cornflower, blue eyes
shed the palest of blue tears,
over scarlet cheeks
that puffed and blew
semi-warm air,
in tiny white clouds
over her numb blue fingers,

In a flimsy, blue nightgown,
under which her
fragile flesh was shivering hard
because she squatted in
a frozen puddle
of blue ice, insulated
only by the snow cover
that captured her
tragic blue shadow,
illuminated by a blue moon.

to a closed and locked
front and back door,
with warmth and safety
just past the
blue curtains that
never budged,
hours after hoping
and praying that they would.
but they remain closed

offering only unwelcome wood....

But this tragic event had
been coming on
for quite a long time.
The scars from cigarette burns
left on parts of her body ‘
no one else could see
bore testament to her
cruel treatment at the hands
of her so-called loved one
like endless thousands
of often abused children
who had fallen long before her

Earlier when
the blue sky
faded to black
a red angst mingled,
with a haze of
blue, cigarette smoke,
spewing a rusty
drunken rage,
as one unreasonable heart,
and one hard-booted foot,
pushed this precious,
innocent 5 year old
viciously from her
Daddy’s house.
His last words to her were
his cursing a blue streak,
as he staggered off
to his couch to sleep
away his whiskey blues...ooo.ooos

The house she called home
was three acres distant
from any other safe haven
and she had been beaten before
for even thinking about
wandering off and so she remained
right now near the place
she had been kicked out suffering
in a ten degree bitter wind.

Inebriated he
completely forgot
his little, girl blue,
who eventually
also feel asleep,
only to be frozen
into blue veined flesh,
in the snow muffled front yard
under a blanket of
eternal darkness.

Come mourning
blue lights flashed,
and men in blue removed,
the worthless skank of a father
who had murdered the little blue girl,
as paramedics shook their heads,
and covered her in a white sheet,
under which the blue of her
iced, crystallized flesh,
soaked to a grayish blue stain.

and beneath that shroud
through its soft, warm cotton
that was no longer able to warm her
her faded, blue eyes stared upward
into eternity, forever young…

I HAVE REACHED OUT TO SC REGARDING THESE ISSUES AND THEY HAVE BEEN WORTHLESS/USELESS, I ACTUALLY THINK BOTS ARE RUNNING THE SHOW.  I TRIED ALL OF SC'S  "HELPFUL HINTS" INCLUDING DELETING COOKIES, ETC...IF YOU OR ANYONE YOU KNOW HAS ANY CONNECTIONS ON HERE, PLEASE FORWARD MY CONCERNS TO SOMEONE WHO ACTUALLY CARES ENOUGH TO FIX THIS.  I CAN STILL POST MY OWN TUNES IT SEEMS BUT I CANT RESPOND TO ANYONE AS RECENTLY AS TODAY I TRIED, I WAS ALSO SIGHTED AS A BOT AS RECENTLY AS TODAY AND BANNED FROM MAKING COMMENTS ONCE AGAIN. Please enjoy my latest offering to you all. It is another seagoing inspired track. Over the years I have seen many deep ocean whales in their natural setting but only once have I seen a pod and it was awesome. There must of been at least twenty of them spread across the bow at distance. I immediately reported my sightings to the captain who immediately stopped engines.  He went on to explain that in this situation you have two choices you can go hard to starboard or port depending on our postion relative to the whales course or simply stop the engines and take in the view explaining the chances of seeing another pod this large is very remote. this all happened long before smartphones came along so we had no way of recording the event. This took place when I was nineteen and I am now 71 and it is a memory that has stayed with me all these years. So I say to all our fantastic young people .... You are at the stage in your life were you are creating your memories .... .don't waste a minute. Thank you all for the great support you give me.... love and peace..

Spring in Paris - Atonal_Machine

This song began on the last day of the cold January of this year, when Ken sat down at his piano and recorded an improvisational jam. This is the first song Eclectic Collective has done where Ken started it with a piano, so we were all very excited to work on it.
  Josh was the first one to add a part, adding his fretless bass guitar, and going back and forth with Ken, while he added the drums to match the groove up right. Josh also added the mandolin after the guitars were laid down, as well as the descending synth blasts you hear throughout. Before all that, though, Stephen recorded the first half of the thrilling guitar you hear in there. After Stephen had his part down, Tez came along and finished the guitar work in the second half. Last, but certainly not least, Mark added the amazing symphonic elements, specifically the horns and flute melody. He also added the cold January wind sound, created using his breath and some tinkling bells.
  Once it was all wrapped up, we asked Stephen to put a bow on it with his expert production, which he came through with, as always.
  As mentioned, this is an extraordinary offering from EC, staring Ken not only on drums, but on the keys, as well. It felt like we were jamming all together in the same room, and hope it comes across that way. We hope you enjoy listening to this as much as we enjoyed creating it.
