Ghost

“The River” is the most personal thing I’ve put out so far. Each song was written about certain memories, feelings, doubts, etc. that I had during and after a relationship I was in. When it eventually ended, in order to move on I had to metaphorically lay this person to rest in my mind. To do that, I would “lay” the memories of my last relationship into this made up “River” to wash them away from my head. Although The river itself symbolizes change. It’s important to have your grieving process, but ultimately you have to learn how to heal from the things that hurt you the most in life.
