Bakermat - One Day (Vandaag) (Original Mix)

'Rise Of Angel' is the brand new single from Luciano, and the first single to be taken from his forthcoming album, due in 2013.  However, for the many thousands of dedicated music fans who have made the pilgrimage to Luciano's hugely successful parties this Summer in Ibiza (the weekly Ushuaia sessions and Vagabundos at Pacha), or the many Cadenza parties around Europe and North America, 'Rise Of Angel' has already become the signature tune and musical hi-light in Luciano's sets, making its release a highly anticipated moment for the Cadenza faithful.

Clocking in at over 15 minutes, 'Rise Of Angel' is an epic slice of modern electronic dance music, the simply Balearic, synth and piano driven hook gently builds and teases with cinematic intent, the light percussion and organic beats working the old Luciano magic, it's no wonder that 'Rise Of Angel' has become one of the most talked about tracks of the Ibiza season this year.

For the remixes, Luciano has kept it in the family, enlisting the duties of fellow Cadenza artists Mirko Loko, UNER and Andrea Oliva to all lend their unique production styles to a solid set of reinterpretations.  The vinyl 12" is coupled with Mirko Loko's pulsating robotic workout, adding a more beats driven take on Luciano's original, and delving into the bass for a heavyweight techno flecked remix.

And bolstering the digital package, UNER weighs in with a dubbed out, rolling drum version, using the vocal FX to support the groove whilst the pianos ride over the mix, and Andrea Oliva goes straight for the 4/4 jugular with a remix that builds solid tribal beats to a crescendo, adding a new dimension to the Original with a choice vocal section.

'Rise Of Angel' will be Luciano's first release on his own Cadenza label since 2010's Lucien-N-Luciano's 'Cuidad De Luz' EP, and marks the start of another big chapter in his career, having spent the last couple of years building a passionate audience through hundreds of DJ performances around the world, the Vagabundos events and collaborating musically with artists such as Pharrrell (Neptunes) and Lenny Kravitz.  His forthcoming album will be his second full length collection (following 2009's ‘Tribute To The Sun’), and his label, Cadenza Records, will celebrate its 10th anniversary, so the future certainly looks bright for the Chilean producer and DJ.

Zdany Chisholm is a saxophonist, vocalist, producer, and composer, based out of Atlanta, GA. He has been featured on several CD projects, and in 2012, Zdany released his self-produced debut album appropriately entitled, Genesis. This album is a creative fusion of contemporary smooth jazz and R&B is attractive, sensual, and soulful to say the least. The project highlights his diverse musical artistries as well as his proficiency in production. From the soulful groove of “Date Night,” the sensual sounds of “You Can Have It All,” the motivating inspiration of “Be Somebody,” and the lyrical ode to that special lady in “Queen of My Dreams,” there is indeed something for everyone to enjoy. His motto is “Music is my passion, but the passion in my music is all for you!”

From his humble beginnings, Zdany has played his way from the kitchen floor, to stages and concert halls all around the world. He has performed for mayors, dignitaries, and for numerous charitable events. Zdany has had the privilege of touring with international recording artist, Cody Chesnutt, whose unique musical styling fuse elements of rock, funk, soul, blues, and hip hop. His soulful sax and horn arrangements are currently featured on Chesnutt’s latest album, Landing on a Hundred. In 2011, he performed at the legendary Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland sharing the stage with the likes of Larry Graham and Bootsy Collins.

Zdany is currently staying busy working on his sophomore album and building his fan base by performing locally and on the road with several bands, wanting to always be in the right place, at the right time. He strives continually to stay meek and grounded even with all the many blessings and opportunities. Notable companies such as Sax Dakota, Bari Woodwind, Reunion Blues, Gator Cases, Silverstein Ligatures and Hercules Stands currently endorse him. "Only what you do for Christ will last," says the humble man as he quotes his mother’s resounding words. This is only the beginning for Zdany, and he is definitely up for challenge of carving out his place in this enormous realm of music!
