this song has been performed and sung countless times since its original composition by Jon Newton, who relates it to his ship wreck experience at sea.
As an instrumental, I have tried to capture some of the musical elements of past arrangements of this classical and beautifull melody.
During this arrangement I was inspired to compose another track with  a ship at sea storm experience called -THE BELL TOLLS'STORM AHEAD'
I hope you enjoy both tracks.

I am retired and have taken up music again (after 60 years since I last played the classical piano)for my pleasure. It is great to redo the old classics with the modern sounds and electronic instruments of today. I  
   Also Like making my own instrumental tracks with my 
Presonus studio 4 software, a size midi keyboard and the Kross workstation Keyboard.
I am so grateful for the support, encouragement and feedback from the  sound cloud community.
What an awesome experience and way to bring music to the world together with likeminded friends-thank you all.
