It's easier to slide towards the dark side, than to advance towards the light which always requires more effort :-) Today it's THEM, tomorrow it might be YOU!

Closing your eyes and not remembering past mistakes is never good, but know that those who persecute, kill, rape, lock up, sterilize, gass, etc....
They will one day find the strength of democracies that will wake up and put a stop, once again, to barbarians, whoever they are.

Withering and shrinking; waiting for a drink
A sprout or two will rise -- but never climb to the sky

I woke up this morning with tears in my eyes
in my little piece of paradise
I should feel warm and be contented
and yet, tears in my eyes

Muttering and sinking; watching for a cloud
A spout or two will rise -- but never a drop from the sky

A quake could shake the ground 
And if a tear were to hit it right
It would split with an awful sound
And day would turn to night

The sky could fall --be upside down
The clouds my bed  -- the stars my ground
The heavens pour and burn my toes

This song is about people that hold extreme biases against the lifestyles of other groups of people. The lyrics delve into the isolation and hypocrisy that breeds these biases generationally. There are detrimental costs associated with this thinking.

I am retired and have taken up music again (after 60 years since I last played the classical piano)for my pleasure. It is great to redo the old classics with the modern sounds and electronic instruments of today. I  
   Also Like making my own instrumental tracks with my 
Presonus studio 4 software, a size midi keyboard and the Kross workstation Keyboard.
I am so grateful for the support, encouragement and feedback from the  sound cloud community.
What an awesome experience and way to bring music to the world together with likeminded friends-thank you all.
