Hari on his real name Patrascu Hariton, born in Dracula's homeland in the mountains of Transylvania ,has his first contact with music early in his childhood when he started breakdancing and founded a crew .During his fifteen years of breakdancing he felt very inspired by Afrika Bambaataa music , James Brown, Dj Shadow and many others.
   The dj-ing career started as a hobby in 2007 playing Deep House and Tech House tunes at several private parties and small bars and clubs in his hometown, Alba Iulia. His passion for underground house music became more than a hobby in 2010, when he was asked to become a resident Dj at a local underground club named EXIT, along with his friend, Zarafu, they started playing together under the name of AudioMUTZ. Their music could be heard at several underground clubs and public radios in Transilvania, Romania such as Raum Club and Dot after-hours Club in Cluj Napoca, and the list goes on and on.

Greuceanu started listening to Minimal at the early age of 15 years old.

In Bucharest, the Minimal movement was growing rapidly and the likes of Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, Priku, Pedro, Suciu, Livio & Roby, and many others inspired him. He started going to Clubs Like Kristal Glam Club and Studio Martin, or Traian 42(Guesthouse). These places, together with Sunwaves festival represent the starting of his musical journey through discovering the real art of mixing these minimal grooves from the likes of Rhadoo, Pedro, Cezar, and many others that inspired him to go down this path.

Greuceanu started learning electronic music production around 8-9 years ago. He started DJ-Ing after about 5 years of producing.

"The sound that I am pushing is a groovy, deep, minimal house with ambient inflections and powerful and melodic bass lines. "

You would often see him play in London's Underground parties but also in Romania, Bucharest and is a recurring face behind the decks having played for Intothewoods, PleasureRoom, Vox, Paravibe, Made in Romanyeah, amongst other underground parties and shared the decks with artists like Cap, Bryz, Triptil, Vlad Arapasu, Olivian Nour, Richy Ahmed, Ted Amber, and others.

 He moves in circles where listening and playing quality music is
 almost a must. From the first minute, he knew what may be considered
 as good, and he could hear it right away. He first encountered with
 this style in 2018, he felt the attraction to make connections in this
 world. DridiF, on his real name Kadi, didn't always stood behind the
 players as an artist, but he always watched the performers precisely.
 He developed great friendships in his hometown, which is in the heart
 of Romania, in Transylvania, with people who were able to introduce
 him to the world of minimal music. He was truly inspired by local artists and of course by some of the big names of the industry, like
 Prichindel, Mihigh and Gescu. When DridiF takes over the CDJ-s, the
 audience immediately feels that the air vibrates differently and the
 night begins to take on serious depths.

DRIDIF [Synapses podcast 04/2023]

Coming from Bucharest, Austin•, on his real name Apostol Alexandru Augustin, was born in 1987, just two years before Romania claimed its independence. He had the first contact with music at the early age of 13 while playing the trumpet and learning music theory at Golgota Baptist Church Orchestra in Bucharest, an experience which clearly influenced his passion for music. Keeping this passion, he spends his teenage years exploring different genres of music until 2013 when he discovered Romanian electronic music and got in love with the uniqueness of the local minimal underground sound and scene. Starting as a Dj in 2017 he felt more attracted to music production and started intently producing beats in 2018, ever since he has been steadily releasing quite a list of tracks at different labels. Austin is attracted by many DJ’s: Barac and Arapu .
