Spd - Synapses Podcast 01/2025

Warren Anthony is a DJ and producer originally from Birmingham, now based in London. Since beginning his musical journey in 2016, Warren has established himself as a distinctive voice in the minimal house scene. His sound draws inspiration from dub, spiritual, and cultural influences from around the globe, resulting in a unique blend of deep, hypnotic grooves and rich textures that resonate on both emotional and physical levels.

In addition to his music production and DJ sets, Warren is the founder of MNML INTL, a brand that has hosted a series of standout parties, fostering a community of like-minded music lovers and tastemakers. During the pandemic, he contributed to the Social People project, a creative initiative that brought people together through music and culture during challenging times.

Warren’s dedication to his craft and his ability to weave diverse sounds into his sets and productions have solidified his reputation as a key figure in the minimal house movement. Whether in the studio or behind the decks, Warren’s mission is to connect people through the universal language of music.

Kolhida - Synapses Podcast 03/2025

Greuceanu’s journey into the world of minimal music began at the age of 15, drawn in by the hypnotic grooves and intricate rhythms that define the genre. Growing up in Bucharest, a city where the minimal movement was flourishing, he found inspiration in artists like Ricardo Villalobos, Raresh, Priku, Pedro, Suciu, and Livio & Roby—pioneers who shaped his early musical vision.

Frequenting legendary clubs such as Kristal Glam Club, Studio Martin, and Traian 42 (Guesthouse), as well as immersing himself in the unparalleled experience of Sunwaves Festival, he developed a deep appreciation for the true artistry of mixing. The refined selections of Rhadoo, Pedro, Cezar, and other key figures left a lasting imprint on his style, guiding him toward his own unique approach.

His journey into electronic music production began around 8–9 years ago, crafting his sound long before stepping behind the decks. After honing his production skills for five years, he naturally transitioned into DJing, seamlessly blending deep, groovy minimal house with ambient textures and powerful, melodic basslines.

Today, Greuceanu is a recognized presence in London’s underground scene as well as in his hometown of Bucharest. He has played at renowned parties such as Intothewoods, PleasureRoom, Vox, Paravibe, and ad-hoc gatherings, creative or business pop-ups, fashion shows or private events, sharing decks with artists like Cap, Bryz, Triptil, Vlad Arapasu, Olivian Nour, Richy Ahmed, Ted Amber, and more.

In addition to his DJing and production work, Greuceanu has recently launched Aural Wave—a gathering and musical community dedicated to showcasing unique sounds and bringing together like-minded artists. Through Aural Wave, he curates events that capture the essence of minimal and deep house, creating an intimate space where artists and dancers can connect through music.

He was born on September 01, 1982 in Bacau. He has always been passionate about music. He comes from a family that is part of this field. 
At the beginning of 1999, Hriscu Dragoș, then the founder of the Zebra Club, proposed to me to work with the lights that were part of the Zebra Club stage. Working with the lights, he had contact with all the guest DJs at Club Zebra at that time. On weekends when there were special guest DJs, he would record every move and during the week he would practice every day. At the same time he was also working on the lights and warm-up the crowd. Thursday at Club Zebra we're entering as a resident Dj on Hip Hop. Friday and Saturday He played electronic muzic with his colleagues Raresh and Zotist.
Dany Teq is a renowned DJ known for his remarkable mixing skills. His career began at Club Zebra at the age of 18 in 1999,where he developed his passion for music ( HIP HOP, HOUSE, Tech House , Deep House , Minimal, Mininal Tech ) and collaborated closely with his colleagues at the desk Dj Raresh from Arpiar, Zotist, In addition to his colleagues on the stage, he had the honor of playing music with special guests such as : Raoul,Vali Bărbulescu,Rhadoo, Gino Manzotti,DJ Maxx,NOI DOI,CEZAR,PRASLEA,Dj MARICAPEDRO,PAGAL,and many other Romanian and international artists who were invited at that time to Club Zebra. James Zabiela, Margaret Dygas,Alinasser,MARCO BRIGUGLIA,ANDY MOREHOUSE,ROSARIO INTERNULO ETC…
He later became a resident at the renowned Opera club, Murazzi in Turin ,PIER CLUB ( ROCOLECTIV- SOUNDS FUSION, GABRIEL ANTE, ALEX BAMSY ) delivering captivating sets and bringing an overflowing energy to the dance floor. His experience at Opera contributed to the growth of his reputation and gained international recognition.
Dany Teq is known for his seamless mixes that blend various genres and his ability to read the crowd and create a magical atmosphere. In addition to his performances, he actively supports young talents in the electronic music industry.
His connection with electronic music is closely linked to the Tech area, over the years developing an excellent style, combining Minimal with Tech-House and House, in a cordial and vigorous form.
