Born in north Minneapolis Zecharya Yishai was surrounded by musical talent. Being the second cousin of Prince and also a close family friend of Terry Lewis, he would grow up surrounded by musical greatness. An avid musician he began drumming at a young age as well as playing the cello, before falling in love with musical writing and performance. Over the course of years the musician and athlete honed his talents in freestyle battles, eventually landing him on BET’s 106 and Park under the name “Germane Champagne.” After taking a hiatus from music to grow spiritually , he moved to Israel , enrolled in a Yeshiva (Ohr Somayach) and converted to Judaism. Now as a dual citizen he has released his new single “M8J0R FL8V0R” and is slated to release more new music in the near future.
