Monsters from the Id

I wrote this track in about 30 minutes one evening. The sample just so captured how I felt at the time. Feeling that things are out of your control and wanting to remove yourself as far away as possible from where you are.

Virginia

Falling Upwards (work in progress)

Still sortof a work in progress (i.e. I only spent the last couple of days on it so it hasn't passed the longevity test yet). Wanted to play around with some more dancey sounds and see where it led. Ended up going back to a piano as lead as it just sounded better.

Light The World

A slow orbesque track. Quite proud of this one. The sample was found completely at random as usual so no greater meaning should be read into it. ;-)

Park Benches

Simple piece I started writing early 2012. Haven't totally nailed the performance as yet but it's not bad. The 3rd section i still a bit "in progress".

Lin Mi

Short improvised piece. Only spent about 3 minutes thinking about the beginning sequence and then just let it flow.

Randomness

2am in the 90s

I generally write stuff on the piano. This either results in a classical (ish) piece or gets taken over to the computer to transform into something more ambient / techno.
