DnB (Two halfs waiting for a third)- HaLf Unusual And Benn DeMole [disquiet0526]

This recording is an entry to the disquiet junto project 50. Asking for a  track where the beat is based on a word translated into morse code


I used a translator website http://morsecode.scphillips.com/jtranslator.html putting in a few phrases and recording them off the speakers. Put bass and hat samples along side the dit and dahs in protools.
Added:  a loops from a paulstreached version of the morsetone, some notes from a Rhodes type setting in reason, a noise pulse sound,a few e.guitar notes etc

This week coincided with a visit to Lambeth’s Imperial War Museum.  Morse code. WWII.. the smell of the wireless . valves. shortwave bands. agents. Spies. Persecution. dissidents. camps. a bit dark but tried not to get too heavy handed. Short and urgent.
