I believe that as long as we are still alive we can love new people and new things. I just found something I take great interest in and I'm not shocked about this new interest because I've never been ashamed to venture into new areas. I say all of that to say that I've been watching the hockey games. The Edmonton Oilers are competing strongly during the NHL playoffs. Because I live in Edmonton, I have gotten to witness the love that the fans have for this team despite if the Oilers win or lose in the hockey games. I also witness the ability for the team to adjust to any level of difficulty it confronts. 
On Thursday two weeks ago while sleeping, I dreamt of this song. The significance of Thursday, May 23rd was its full moon. I was so afraid that night because the house where I live in Edmonton is opposite an Indigenous hospital that's being turned into new apartments. Allegedly, there are graves across the road in the yard opposite to the bed where I sleep. It becomes so spiritually charged in the night time, that I am afraid. I become afraid because when operating on things we can see most of the time, hearing  things and I not seeing proof of anything making the noises of what I hear, I become fearful. While experiencing this fearful discomfort in my sleep, this song was being birth. I had to come out from my cozy blanket to record this song on my phone so I can have an opportunity to record it on my microphone. What is my take away from this experience? My take away from this song and the night of the full moon is corporations and governments can fund sports that they are passionate about, but nobody has the passion to resolve or preserve areas of importance experienced by Indigenous people or the darker skin people of the world. I hope by creating catchy, tasteful songs, I can one day overcome the shortages I experience. I hope that one day my songs allow me the platform to tell people that integrity is more important than money. I hope that one day I can invest in people I can vouch for around me that work relentlessly to uphold ethical construct and to speak from their hearts even when they have things to lose. I am hoping that music brings me the power and the glory that I have been searching for to make the world better and to improve the quality of my life, my family, my community and my world.
