Monday’s at Burning Man are always very special for me. I have a tradition where I gift a ticket to a stranger at Will Call every year to start the week. This was an emotional year for me as I lost one of my best friends a couple months before the Burn. We met at the Burn 9 years ago where I gifted him a ticket at Will Call, and the friendship we formed thereafter inspired this act of service all those years later. 

Monday has arrived, and my wife and I started our day at Temple, where I cried my eyes out for hours. We then made the trek to Will Call, and brought it full circle for my 9th Burn, where we gifted a ticket. 

After this amazing experience, we find our way to the coolest camp on the Playa, Frog Camp. I am absolutely blown away from the kindness and hospitality the camp and dance-floor showed me that night. This is a Burning Man memory we will never FROGet.

Playing my Saturday closing party set at DISTRIKT is always the highlight of the year for me DJing. While every year is amazing, this year was special, as everything just came together at DISTRIKT. Our brand new stage went off without a hitch, the weather was amazing, we had an incredible group of campers and it all just led to one of my personal best years at BM so far(of the 19 I've been to! ). The music, the people, the sound system and the overall vibe, just incredible. This 3 hour set has some of my favorite tracks of the past year, as well as some fun classics you’ll recognize. This week's guest is no stranger to the Southern California house and techno scene. Having come together in San Diego this duo hit the scene strong after a debut performance at The Standard back in 2011. From there it has been no looking back as they have made waves across the world and become a premiere name in underground house and techno.  Having held residencies in Ibiza and Miami in addition to touring schedules that have taken them from Desert Hearts to Tulum to Switzerland and places in between. In addition to a healthy touring schedule they have a rigorous production ethic that has seen them release with top labels such as Get Physical, Bedrock, Crosstown Rebels and so many more. I feel like we are just scratching the surface of what to expect from these guys and am happy to share this mix with you all this week.
