In ZeeZout Co-Orientations we share music with the world from our favorite regulars and give new artists the chance to introduce themselves. As this is a collaborative project, we asked Optimo to pick the artist for the second mix. Optimo introduced us to Bergsonist, a New York based multidisciplinary artist and musician who recently released on Optimo Music.

In this 60 minute mix, Selwa Abd guides us effortlessly through feelgood waves. The mix contains a great selection of groovy rhythms, despicable melodic house and uplifting snares. Making us look forward to all better days ahead.

The latest contribution to the ZeeZout Co-Orientations Mix Series is by the multitalented Margie. 

Margie, DJ & music collector who also works as a writer for Wax Poetics magazine, is a true allrounder. She combines her talent and knowledge effortlessly. Since the beginning of this year she has also started multidisciplinary projects with Bureau Punt, a creative agency from Amsterdam.

In this mix series, Margie delivers a stunning selection. 75 dreamy minutes filled with soulful house, some breaks influences and rolling snares, all mixed together.

On to the next ZeeZout Co-Orientations Mix Series contributed by the multitalented @philoulouzolo.

Philou’s coming of age is defined by the forces of musical and cultural diversity, living in worlds seemingly estranged from one another. With his album African Gold and the birth of his label Wokoundou, Philou is driving forces. 

For this contribution, The Rotterdam based DJ and producer delivers a 60 minutes mix of vibey rollers, dreamy percussions and some acid influences. Louzolo is in the process of creating, keeping one foot on the African soil while both his hands are reaching for the future sky above and beyond us, with expanding the genre of African music as his ultimate quest.

Some serious heat from Belgium by Kiosk Radio Resident and Horst Festival artist David 'DTM Funk' Tricot. With this mix DTM Funk will move you through soul, grooves, rhythms and more! 

When he isn’t DJing - (or dancing) - you will probably find DTM hosting underground parties or signing new artists for his own record label San-Kofa Rhythms, which literally translates to: ‘’Go back and get it’’.

The first ZeeZout Co-Orientations Mix Series of the year is by one of our all time favourites, @san-soda!  

San Soda, also known as Nicolas Geysens, is known in underground music circles as a real record collector. This shows in his predictably unpredictable DJ sets, which are made up of carefully chosen gems after years of crate digging around the world. 

In this mix, Nicolas gets us through 80 minutes of cheerful sounds mixed with disco, enchanting influences and classic house. His selection and mixing skills are definitely a sense of cohesion.

@ggaabbrriieellee gets us into a smooth blend of house, disco and italo with some 80’s-flavored signature marks. In a previous life he’s been a resident dj at Milan’s Dude Club, an institution of Italian clubbing where his music was driven by a strong curiosity towards a wide range of musical genres coming from different eras and cultural contexts. 

He collects music, occasionally enjoys playing weird tunes to small dancing crowds and some of his happiest days are spent working in a record shop or record digging himself.

One of a kind Cinnaman for a brand new contribution to our ZeeZout Co-Orientations Mix Series.

Yuri Boselie, better known as Cinnaman has become one of the most respected figures of Amsterdam’s bustling underground electronic music scene and that's exactly why we have been inviting him this much to be part of our Zeezout line ups. 

In this mix, Yuri gets us through 60 minutes of rolling beats, uplifting sounds,  breaks and lots of percussion mixed in a tasteful energetic way. Cinnaman always deliver the goods.

As a DJ, producer, remixer, sound engineer, and musician Justin Van Der Volgen has both feet firmly planted in the New York music scene. He runs the My Rules imprint and has released on a wide array of labels including Golf Channel (@olfhannelecordings), @ESP-Institute, @Warp-records, @RunningBack - the list goes on. Justin was fortunate enough to dance at iconic NYC parties like Body & Soul, Shelter, and Soul Summit which helped shape and influence his taste. Jessy joined the PIP crew not much later. He’s now throwing skate contest events with the MalieMadnezz crew, seen at ZeeZout Festival 2019 and ZeeZout at the Beach, and last but definitely not least, he’s the DJ of the coolest boyband of all time: Goldband!
