It took me a while after having moved to another country and a change in my personal life to find the inspiration and consistent workflow again. I am getting closer and closer and part of the consistency was creating this podcast for you. The first track I have loved for many years now and always wanted to do something with it, thanks Francesca for sharing the original with me. I finally felt inspired to grab it and give it some AC flavour. It's always a proces to create a journey with musical tracks, where I am trying to bring that timelessness, balance and surprise in there. It's probably the same proces as writing a book. D-Formation has been one of the Spanish leading Dj’s and producers for more than 30 years and has toured the world delivering his music. 

After winning Spain’s DMC contest with only 17 years, in 1986, Dimas Carbajo (D-Formation real name) started his own label MD Records and later a distribution company called Resolute Distribution. 

In 2003 adopted the D-Formation alias and had innumerous hit’s and released in labels like Yoshitoshi, Suara, Toolroom, Einmusika, Stereo Productions, among many others. 

In 2004 founded BeatFreak Recordings which now is on its release number 238 and had several tracks on #1 on Melodic Techno and Progressive House sales charts. His set goes from evolving Melodic Techno textures to a more serious Progressive House groove.

D-Formation @ Melodic Therapy #075 - Spain

On this week's editions we welcome Lisandro, an up and coming talent from Argentina, who is serving you a delightful Absinthe. 

Lisandro is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. A country that continues to be one of the top sources for catchy and melodic deep electronica.

Only producing for a couple of years, Lisandro released on notable imprints such as Lost Desert’s Souksonic and Pablo Bolivar’s Seven Villas. Thanks to his distinctive productions, Lisandro already gained the attention of some of the scene’s most influential selectors. 

His music is characterised by a rich soundscape, dreamy melodies, sometimes with a psychedelic touch, as heard just recently on the fantastic Void EP on When We Dip's TOR imprint. 

A pleasure to have you on board, Lisandro. We love your green fairy!
