I‘m painting pictures and keep them in my soul
They are stored beneath the scars, beneath the holes

You would see who I am, where my sadness hides
I‘m singing you my fairy tales, the poems in my head
A book in sheets with missing pages, still not finished yet
If you were able to get a closer look
You could read in this open book

I’m begging you for nothing but an open mind
Don’t rush, don’t hesitate, let your prejudice behind
My life is a rollercoaster, my soul goes up and down
A King with a stranger kingdom, a King without a crown

Zeid Hamdan is a Lebanese music composer.
He was born in Beirut in 1976
For the last 2 decades, he s been producing  some of the most interesting bands of the Lebanese and regional indie music scene such as Soapkills , The New Government , Hiba Mansouri , Kanjha Kora , Maryam Saleh , Maii Waleed and his own songs under the band name "Zeid and the wings"
On top of producing his own records , Zeid Hamdan  has also been scoring for Films .
In July 2012 he was distinguished by CNN as being one one the 8 leading light of Lebanese Culture.
