Fresh new label Holybro is the creation of Dutch DJ & producer Ray Monsieur. Hailing from the European dance capital of Amsterdam, his thoughtful and melodic compositions are infused with depth, warmth, and emotions. On his debut release ‘Stronger’, the hypnotic arrangements each tell a musical story. Created in the attic of his parents’ house, when circumstances forced him to return home for a spell, on a Roland TR8S drum machine and a SH101, the soft synth sounds have been lovingly created by Ray, with mixing and mastering courtesy of Nachtbraker (Quartet Series, Red Light Radio and Doka Amsterdam).
 
The majestic opener ‘Forget’ will lift arms, minds, and spirits when it drops, a heads down stomper for the ALFOS faithful no doubt.  ‘My Love’ uses only the feel-good notes in its joyous blend of colourful synth melodies, undulating electronic strings, and soft synth touches. The dreamy yet dynamic techno of title cut ‘stronger’ is bright and reflective. It’s melody is both filtered and drawn out, the resultant music is effortlessly pleasing and awash with a wave of melodic sheen. Closing track ‘Sunshine’ is music made with machines for machines. Trance-inducing hypnotic electronica blended with a heady chord sequence that drives this EP all the way home.
